file explorer -internal-system-koumamod-then i make it r/w then open koumamod as a text file using file explorer then remove # before the mount sd-ext as /data then i back out and it asks do you want to save changes i press yes then it says save failed

weird, I've done it that way on a few different phones without any problem.

when you go back to menu>more it says Mount R/O after you mount it to R/W right?

SprintAndroidExtension.apk is in the ROM

you can reboot and try again or go to the superuser app and remove privileges and allow them again or try a different file manager/editor

you can use the file explorer in the rom to edit the koumamod file

go to the sdcard tab
press menu and settings and check show hidden and root explorer
press back, press where it says Internal/mnt/sdcard and select Internal
go to /system and press menu and Mount R/W, press back
long press koumamod, open as, text, file explorer, make your change, press back, hit save and reboot

No. Try Android Terminal Emulator. Make sure you're rooted and the program has super user level privileges. It really does work.

SprintAndroidExtension.apk is in the ROM itself.

A heads up . Don't know if Avast gave a false positive or not but it picked up malware from this app . I ran this app ever since switching from CM7 . I just installed Avast the other day and it picked it up on the first scan it did . I tested again just in case and it tested positive again. Someone else mind scanning it .

Any Anyone else scanned it with Avast ? If so , what did you find ?

i use THIS ONE its nice, push a button with timed delay options, or use the shake feature to take a screenshot

Hey guys i have been out of the loop for about a week or so and i have a new question. I am kind of concerned about the memory usage on my phone. Biggest things currently on my phone are: Google Play Store 6.39mb, Yahoo Messenger 5.63mb, Google Voice 3.26mb, imo messenger 3.16mb, Facebook Messenger 3.01mb, Widgetsoid 2.78mb, Yahoo Mail 2.55mb, Textfree 2.48mb. Now my problem i am getting at is that my gf is having me try to get programs so she can call me on them (she has no service to her phone) She tryed Viber the other day and it was like 10mbs, i removed Viber today and my phone is now at 53mb, if i installed the new updates to ctmod would i get more space? Also on a side note does anyone know of a program i can have my gf download to her phone to make free calls over the wifi on her phone?

also use the app, DROID SAIL SUPER APPS 2SD (root required)
it also has a built in cache cleaner.

for free calls, use SKYPE, skype to skype users are FREE

Note:
if you move any WIDGET and/or SYNC app, to SD card, it wont be able to SYNC or be used as a WIDGET. (i.e.-facebook,gmail...etc)
it will still be accessible, just not sync properly

Scan that puppy with Avast and see what ya get .

Looks like a false positive
Seems it got flagged for having low level phone permissions, probably to read the display RAM

i flashed to 3.3,rebooted, did a advanced RESTORE, restored DATA folder and EXT-SD folder. rebboted, works great...couple days ago.

just noticed....
the battery thing on the status bar, said 6..it has the lightning bolt, indicating its charging..now it reads 7?

its not plugged into anything,wall outlet or USB..is it alive?

update: it went down..to 5, but it saying its charging...maybe its become self aware...

I'm not sure what the process is to edit the kouma file is. So would I use the same process that I sued to partition card using dark tremors?
