Root [ROM][DEV][WIP] CyanogenMod 10 for the LG Spirit 4G

Hmm... I was under the assumption that were not using the 2nd in-it because the touch recovery seems to be integrated into the ROM. Forgive me, but the last thing I rooted was my $100 Chinese donut tablet from Christmas 3 years ago...

well, 2nd-init isnt required for CWM now, it can actually be flashed like normal. The patch to reboot into 2nd-init recovery isnt in my builds now so it actually boots to recovery.. aka need the loki's CWM/T installed.

But 2nd-init is still used to boot CM currently until I get the ramdisk right so a cm built, then loki'd boot.img to boot fully.

EDIT: new zip uploaded 0830, wiki updated and updating the op next. ;)
 
Getting a No SIM Card / MetroPCS on my lock screen. This is the 2nd time I've seen it now. It doesn't mean anything, because I can still call, text, browse, but it seems to come on after the phone has been idle on charge (?). First time I got it as soon as I picked up my phone after charging all night, and again after charging from 5%-65% while cleaning the house. It seems a reboot of the device clears the message away though...

the sim card aka uicc card is for the LTE only. ;)

Thank you, sorry for being a noob. I have rooted previous phones and tablets, but already bricked one Spirit to the point where the MetroPCS corporate store replaced it. It is a bit of a challenge to me with the locked bootloader. Any chance you turned on the CRT animations with the latest version?

messed with it a lil but doesnt seem to wanna work. May try again tomorrow. ;)

I have rebooted my device, rebooted to recovery, flashed other. Zip files in recovery, charged my phone for extended periods, installed.. Apk and other apps, and my video playback still works like a charm on CM10. Hope it isn't going to quit though, what has happened to your from the time it worked until now?

I don't remember exactly but I think it might have been since I installed a flash player
 
Just another annoying suggestions PG, how about on a later version we wipe that ugly Metro PCs off our lock screen and status bar drop down. Something like Cyanogenmod or even Spirit will be better than the name of the company that added all the bloat ware we strive so hard to remove...

i think thats the service thing id rather keep that so people know what company u have

I leave it because it helps let me know when I have a signal and ril is working. ;)
