By the way, I haven't flashed the new radio still and everything is working fine. I suspect I should flash it in case it becomes important later, but my "if-it-ain't-broke-don't-fix-it" conservatism is creeping in. Any thoughts from you knowledgeable folks?

I haven't noticed anything different on new baseband. It's going to come down to personal preference.

Had my baby today. He said he wants me to flash the new Dirty Unicorns build but the nurses won't leave us alone. :(

I love the work you guys are doing, you make android waaay more fun.. I have a Samsung S4 I9505 and I'm looking for a stable DU rom and Gapps to download, which one can I download..

I just had a VERY odd thing happen. I decided to give DU another go so I downloaded the latest and banks's updated gapps. In TRWP I did a factory wipe and installed DU plus the gapps. Upon booting I had to set up my phone due to the factory wipe but once I was in Android I realized that I had stock 4.3.3 installed. Please tell me how this is possible when I did a wipe (and obviously worked as all apps were removed and I had to go through the setup routine again) and only installed DU and Banks's full gapps.

And now when I restore my phone via an nandroid I get stuck on the spinning 4 dots. Hopefully I didn't just brick this damn thing. Time to try the toolkit...

Considering that there was no official 4.3.3 version, it sounds like maybe there's a typo in the build.prop or something. Just a guess though.

I'm not quite sure I understand. Are you saying that DU comes up as 4.3.3 (which doesn't happen here) or that you ended up with something else, not DU, showing 4.3.3. Is this in about phone or somewhere else?

I am not sure what is happening with you either. I had the OTA 4.4.3 update on my N5 and then did a flash to the latest DU that has the 4.4.3 in it. All went well for me at least.
Wish I had a better answer for you :(

My DU install was 100% stock. It showed 4.3.3 with no DU settings. It was as if I flashed the stock image for 4.3.3.

I'll probably try it again tonight to see if I have better luck.

Where did you download this from? Considering I don't think there ever was an Android 4.3.3, and certainly not for the Nexus 5 (which never had any version before 4.4), this is very odd. That's why I asked if you were getting this information from "about phone" or somewhere else.

Anybody else having Bluetooth issues? I connected to my car stereo and it kept dc then reconnecting, then all over again and again.

This has only been since the last update

I downloaded it from the OP. Yes. it was simply a typo. It should have been 4.4.3.

Then I don't think I understood what exactly you were saying was wrong in the first place? Not the first time I've been mixed up. ;)

To me, it sounded like after flashing, instead of DU, he got the stock rom. I don't know how that could happen either unless the wrong file was flashed. A stock recovery would do that after a factory reset, but not TWRP. Hopefully, his backup turns out to be good

Could be a bad download... Maybe the file didn't flash correctly. Only way to see if it was a bad download would be to check the md5 if you still have the zip.

Is there a way to adjust the layout of the GEL drawer? I would love to get back the stock layout and not the crowded drawer I see now.

That may be the dpi change. You can change the lcd_density back to 480, or use a 3rd party launcher or xposed gel settings to change the grid layout

I also have noticed that when I turn the phone off and then hook it up to the charger the screen stays on with the battery charging (lightening bolt) icon staying instead of it going to the battery filling icons. Anyone else notice this?

You have to turn off wake on charge in settings > display. It's that way in virtually every AOSP ROM.

this might have been asked before, but can I change the navbar heights (even if its with an xposed module)?

I ask because I tried to try out PA and the only ones that work mess up the back button icon.
