Yeah I did and that fixed it. I just wanted to see if there was something I was missing. I wonder why the radio won't work? Ahh well. ROM is smooth though

I don't know if it would make a difference, but did you jump from the 4.4.2 radio to the 4.4.4 radio? There were new radios for both 4.4.3 and 4.4.4. As I say, I don't know if it matters, but I flashed both, in order.

Ahhhh I did, I did. I wonder if that's what it was. Idk, I'll try and see if that does the trick. :)

I have no idea what is up with Gmail. I answered a post and it never showed up?
Oh well............

When I flashed the new radio all I was getting was H+ until I went into the APN screen and it showed AT&T Phone but was not ticked. I ticked it and now have LTE like I should. Not sure anyone else has this happening but worth checking.

Seems to have done the trick for me. Thanks man :D

Anyone else seeing "android system" hogging more battery than the screen in battery stats? Better battery stats wasn't helping.

The new 6/28 test build has a sweet revision of the Dirty Tweaks control panel with tabs. :)

I would recommend just using LMT Launcher if you want PIE. We don't plan on adding it - mostly because none of us find it to be a useful feature. Secondly, I highly protest against users using Xposed modules on DU. It causes way too many issues in the framework. Plus - quite frankly, there's no need to when you already have this much customization available to you.
Alright cheers!

I only need a couple of modules - force new activity, Snapshare (not really necessary) and app settings. Although I haven't had any noticeable issues (yet)

And I feel like pie is more cool than useful, but it's quicker than a swipe to bring up the navbar. Although I can see what you guys are saying

How can I use my own host file for ad-blocking? I have like 12 host sources along with some white and black listed sites all saved on adaway. It doesn't stick when check enable adblocker.

Edit: new furnace kernel up by the way (1.3.6)
- (CAF) Merge upstream CM changes
- Intelli_Plug 3.7 w/ Eco Mode sysfs (points to nr_profile #3)

I knew about the kernel changes in advance. Savoca sent me a message to give me a heads up, but I haven't had the time to pull them all. It's like ~20 commits.

As for ad-blocking, you can replace the pre-existing hosts file. However, when we changed it to this new format - the file becomes overridden each time it is updated to a set file, thus making your file obsolete.

BTW, here's a build with the Furnace updates: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358556137

Only going to share it here for now.

Hey Josh... Is there any known issues with driving mode? I tried using it tonight and it wouldn't read my new texts and also are you supposed to be able to send voice texts with it?

It may just be incompetence on my part, I couldn't figure it out though...

Honestly, I have no idea. I've never used Driving Mode before. I tend to only drive on the weekends and even then I'm not using my phone for anything during that time.

I'll ask the squad and see what they say.

EDIT: Lol @ your post on XDA. I just really dislike liars and lazy folk. That guy had it coming.

Thanks bud! I admittedly haven't done the research yet. I know that's not your problem, but with a new baby and getting back to work (everything piled up while I was gone) just been exhausted and feeling lazy so I thought I'd ask. :o

Don't break your neck for me, just figured if you knew you could throw a quick answer my way.

It literally costs me nothing to ask in team chat. I'm sure one of us delinquents actually uses the feature.

Answer is: No, it doesn't respond to voice. The sole purpose is to just provide vocal announcements for your notifications (if any are received while active).

I had a feeling it didn't respond to voice. I'll have to do some research to see why it wasn't reading incoming texts. Thank you go asking!!

Edit:

Oh hey! Does today's build still need 4.4.3 gapps? I assume yes, but since you're around I might as well verify.

Edit again :
Just dirty flashed today's build over the last official and flashed 4.4.3 gapps. All is well so far. Seems snappier than before.

The 6/29 4.4.4 gapps fixed the previous issues that I had mentioned. You can use the 6/29+ gapps now.

Not sure if it's even ROM related but I've been getting fairly frequent signal drops, like I'll have no service. I've got the latest baseband flashed and the latest text build of DU. Stock DU kernel.

Did you try a simulated battery pull-- hold power (ignoring menu) until unit spontaneously shuts off, release power button and it will spontaneously restart. That will sometimes help with wonky signal and battery stuff.

No, I haven't. Will try.

Hello,
I have a Htc Evo 4g LTE with Android 4.4.4 Dirty Unicorns and have tried using hangouts to send MMS without any luck and was wondering if anyone has found a fix for this.
