So, I flashed this rom for stuff and grins and it is very smooth and fast except for a wifi issue. The wifi works at home but it could not connect at my gym. I was able to connect at my gym with Decks rom but not this one. I tried to forget and reconnect and it still did not work. Put in airplane mode and turned airplane mode off and nothing. Did you flash a kernel? If so, you'll have to do the mount/unmount data trick when flashing kernels. Otherwise, there shouldn't be anything wrong with wifi

Chop Suey was already included in the rom. I did not flash any other kernel separately
 
I haven't had any time to flash another kernel but this ROM has been great. Running as my daily now, I have to say I recommend this one if you have not tried it.
 
Just flashed this morning & this Rom stole my heart :p I see that Chop Sue y Kernel is already is built in this Rom. I am yet to see if this would give me good battery life so I will let it stay for a while.

For people who tried a different kernel, What are your results in terms of performance VS battery life? :D

ok so your question will be very inconsistent as kernels will always perform differently on different phones. what works for you may not work for me. my phone hates chop suey. my phone did better with either golden monkey or the freedom kernel. so with kernels it will always be YRMV when it comes to battery life as well as performance. really the best thing to do is let the rom and kernel settle before you make the judgement to move on to a different kernel or not. and if it is not working for you then make a nandroid backup and try some kernels that are out there. and let us know what works for you.

Its like an itch I can't stop scratching ;) I am gonna let Chop Sue y settle for a whole week and see if it beats my overall experience with MikG 3.11 + Underworld V07.

Same here tube517. Day 2 with this Rom and Chop Sue y and I can really see the difference in battery life. I also decided to run V6 Supercharger yesterday (It took me 5 days to decide for it really worries me a lot :D) After running it... It made me love my EVO even more :p

That's great news jl79. I am excited for it. I wonder what's new on the next update... Can't wait ;)

This is the first sense 3.0/3.5 rom with no lag for me. I couldn't be happier right now.:D
 
So true.. No lags for me too. Though I haven't tried that many Sense 3.0 & 3.5 Roms, But it beats all other ICS Roms I have tried out there in overall stability. Excited to see more on the next update :)

Since it is such a good ROM to begin with I wouldn't mind seeing maybe some aspects of the Sense 4.0 style brought to this ROM.

Kinda funny remembering back when I got this.. I said. " I am just going to look for a good stable Rom get my apps running and I am good to go " Now... LOL :p

Its been 3 full days and this works like a charm. It is slowly overtaking my experience from MikG 3.11 but I still have a few more days to test it. So far, the battery has been awesome. Facebook, Taking/Uploading pictures, Watching videos, listening to music, WiFi and Bluetooth.. One full charge with my stock battery is enough for a whole day with like 15 - 17% left upon arriving home :)

Mik3D? Hmm.. Made me curious. I guess I will spare time during the weekend to check it too. I have high regards with MikMik, So Im sure this one is going to be nice too :D

i'm a huge fan of mik's. his roms are always top notch. mik3d is a great rom.
 
Flashed this yesterday and am really liking it. Up there with MikG for me, at least almost.
Very smooth, everything loaded right, kickin' it old school!
 
Weird thing happening since I flashed this ROM...After I get a phone call I'm receiving text messages saying something like "Android has left a you a voice mail, dial 602-xxx-xxxx"

Anyone else seen this?
 
Was out for a family emergency.. Not able to read that much into the forums.

Alright Day 6 and all is smooth sailing until today. When I was watching videos I encountered a slowdown, Sound is OK but there's lag on the video. I am playing HD videos on Diceplayer. Before it was perfect, But suddenly it started to lag. I thought its just the player til I played it on the stock player. I used to play videos with no problems on MikG 3.11 despite the length.

I am not sure if this is what they are saying that Sense 3.5 on EVO slows down in time since it the system itself is tight in space. Hmm... I guess its flashing time once again :p
