Root [ROM] GB-CMod7-Beta

SO YOU WANT AN OVERCLOCKED KERNEL? Well you need to go here and in categories you select mobile phones and model name is ms690. Next a selection will appear saying lgms690 click that and it will take you to another page with a couple choices click submit query. A new window will open fill out the forms and tell them you want the 2.2.1 kernel source ( make sure to spell kernel right there is no "a" in kernel :D LOL )

This takes less then five minutes. DO IT

I must be a noob but i cant get TBU to launch i installed it, it says its installed but open is greyed out and it dosent show up on app drawer...:o

i was more than happy to do that. hopefully, if enough of us bother them they'll release it to at least one of us :)
 
It is a port from an CM7 rom compiled by AOSP for the Optimus V.

So we want the source for 2.2.1 in order to make an overclockable kernel for 2.2.1 phones.

ps the kernel used in this is the stock 2.2.1 kernel
 
I dont know if anybody experiencing any freezes when you open your browser and the phone freezes then reboots or is it just me? should i just do a wipe and reinstall of this Rom? it didn't happen on the first beta im just asking if its been happening to anybody else? its happens frequently like 4 times a day.Is there any way i can add swipe to the keyboard or is it already there if so how can i activate it?

Firstuval I'd like to say that I love this and I have to think Reppard with all of my heart, because it's awesome.

Second, the ROM is a little glitchy and my GPS is all but broken.

I don't think I've seen anyone say it yet, but my own Quadrant Standard score went from just under 400 to about 850. That's more than double, and that's crazy, and awesome.

We received your request on LG Open Source Code Distribution site.
This site is just for providing source codes of FOSS(Free and Open Source Software) we have used in our product.

The open source of MS690 we uploaded (http://opensource.lge.com) is for Android Froyo 2.2.1 (SW Version : MS690ZV4).
Therefore you can download kernel source of the phone for Android Froyo 2.2.1 from the LG Open Source Code Distribution site, http://opensource.lge.com.
