Ummm.....sounds great but last night I flashed this newest update that reppard posted and while everything seemed to work fine I ran into a brick wall trying to run quite a few apps such as 'Angry Birds' and 'iGO My Way' which is the GPS app that I use. Both crash when trying to load using this rom. Anyone else have similar problems?

My GPS software won't even load on this rom and I need either a Wi-Fi or mobile network connection to get Google Navigation to work so since my service is turned off it's worthless.

I was thinking it might have something to do with setting up my SD card with a ext3 partition for A2SD but it hasn't effected anything while running the Sense rom.

I'm just baffled at how I keep running into problems with this rom that seemingly only effect me and no one else.
 
UGH!!!! I just wiped everything and tried installing again. This time I didn't even get the screen that says "Tap on the Android to Start". It went right to the home screen and gave me a status message in the status bar saying my SD card is damaged. Plus my home button doesn't seem to work.

*throws phone at the wall*
 
Andy, you're not alone. I also have GPS issues, and several of my favorite programs crash on this ROM too. Happily went back to 2.2.1 'till LG releases GB or the community can work out these kinks.

Now that the source is out, perhaps that'll quickly change.
 
Yeah I got it all back up and running. Downloaded free version of Angry Birds from the Android Market. Tried to run it and get "The application Angry Birds (process com.rovio.angrybirds) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I also had that problem with angry birds.
