Root [ROM] GingerSteem Extreme for LG Esteem MS910

Very random question. I am having problems with syncing. Every time I open for example: Facebook, I have to enter my info, instead of it normally syncing like it did on normal stock rom. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Are you having that problem just with Facebook ?

Uninstall Facebook and install it again.

Just installed this ROM a few weeks ago. Since I've been using it, I've noticed it uses a little more battery than the stock ROM with LG Optimizer installed.

I am a light 4G user and when I'm not using it, data is ALWAYS disabled. I text heavily though, I keep my display settings to either dark or automatic. I am on wifi for about 5 hours during the day, give or take an hour. I have advanced task killer which I've set to auto kill once every hour, instead of every half hour. I have my SetCPU profiles as follows...

Charging 460 max, 122 min
Priority 100 powersave

In Call 768 max, 368 min
Priority 90 conservative

Screen Off 652 max, 122 min
Priority 80 powersave

During use, I usually don't go over 1024 max (which is no fun)

i KNOW i can squeeze more juice out of the battery, I would just like to know how. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

i skipped the facebook sync in the setup wizard and i tried to just download it from the market, and it says my device isn't compatible, also cleared data twice and still the same thing says install for like half a sec then disappears and gives me the not compatible message

ATK is a pofs, I highly recommend getting rid of it. It uses more battery than it saves. ;)

it's not the activity of the app, its how you use it!! hahaha

i use atk and have awesome battery life, just disable that auto kill crap because that is literally the most useless feature on it.. dont let it do anything in the background, just open it, kill your stuff (i set security to low so it kills more things) kill the app itself after you killed everything else, the widget is also crap so dont use that... just open the actual app once in while and manually kill things, i usually do it before every major internet based move lol like surfin the web or using the market

Want to hear something ? ATK are really useless :(. You already have application manager in your phone. Besides it will eventually kill your battery life. I have try some many of those apps

My latest issue is the following. I noticed that my phone dialing was very laggy! So now was a good time to re-image and see if things would be better. I used PG's guide for backup. I re-installed gapps and metroff, rebooted, and then went back to recovery and re-installed the backup.

Since then, I am still getting lag on the dialer, I can not send MMS pictures (although I can receive), and my 4G is flakey at best. Now are these issue that only I am experiencing or has anyone else run into them?

I have tried to tweak anything like over-clocking or anything else. I am just at a loss. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

ummm why are you installing gapps n metroff on this phone?

I love this ROM. And the speed on it is amazing (1.8Ghz). But the only problem I have now is the battery. My phone dries up in about 2 hours of usage. (Doing anything) at average there are about 10+ apps that are automatically on. Example: the music app is ALWAYS active. Does anyone know how i can drastically improve my battery life? This is ridiculous!
