First thoughts:

Boot animation: :(
Loved the old synergy ones... its just the plain HTC quietly brilliant boot animation with a beats logo thrown in once in a while.

Displaying EvDo instead of 3G

Seems snappy, running aggressive freedom

Different clock/weather widget, am a fan of more real estate ;)

Hotspot/wifi works

Comes with Daemon Controller

Mount as disk drive issues... screen shot to come once i get that worked out

Just my opinion;)

I like the simple boot animation

Why did you flash a new kernel? Ziggy's kernel is already included for this rom;)

You can change the clock weather widgets in widgets


I like how smooth it is and for being a so-called alpha, pretty impressed so far. Eternity theme should follow in the near future;)

The new smaller weather/clock widget is with the 3.5 roms now. A nice added feature, imo:)


Yea, I definitely like flashing custom kernels but when it comes to ziggy making a specific kernel for a specific rom, I'll tend to stay with that kernel for a while;)

Ziggy's pretty old school so I wouldn't imagine too many members *newer* (not saying you are Rxpert ;)) to the root community to know too much about his kernel's. I would've kept his kernel w/ the ROM as well.
 
So I went to the XDA link and downloaded the zip. Did a factory reset, ran the superwipe and when I tried to flash the rom it aborted install and at the end of the abort said "(bad)". I m guessing that means the zip file is faulty? And is the kernel he made for it included with the rom download? I only saw 1 link on the xda post. this was the link, under the "goods" section of the post-

I will fully admit I'm a newer member of the root community :D

I have reflashed the ROM and left the kernel alone and it does seem to be doing just fine.

Thats not the rom. Its in the nightly folder near the top of the OP. It will take you to his site and you just have to click the nightly folder link again

Thank you for redirecting me. :) Out of curiosity, what is the thing I downloaded initially?

Side note: just noticed this is my 100th post. No more junior member!
 
so this is a rom based off of the runnymede phone (now called the sensation xl) and i beleive that is the base (stock) rom from that phone. do not flash it!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I tried to flash it. Fortunately, it did not work. Aborted the flash. But speaking on that, I downloaded what I am pretty sure is the right file and am getting the same result. This is what it says on my phone-

Install from sdcard...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
E:Can't open /sdcard/InfectedROM_Eternity_A1.zip
(bad)

Installation aborted.
 
Yes, I can confirm that is the correct file.

Do you have with problem with trying to flash other things?

Can you try to flash a different ROM so that we can confirm there is nothing wrong with your recovery?

Also, what recovery are you on?

Flashing MikG 2.59 now. seems to be installing just fine. I am using amon ra 2.3

I did a factory reset and flashed the superwipe before trying to flash it as well.

Have you checked your sd card lately? and are you doing a complete wipe of everything at least 3 times?
