Just rooted my phone last week. When i did the initial root I formatted and partitioned my sd card so I imagine it should be fine. I am trying to flash it again after running superwipe 2 times first.
Ok, doing that now. I thought the superwipe program was supposed to do all that data and cache wiping for you so you didn't have to do it manually?
After doing a factory reset, running superwipe 2 times, manually wiping the cache, dalvik cache and data 2 times and running super wipe again I still get the same error. Cant open the zip. Says its bad. Guess ill try re-downloading it and reinstalling...

I love the Weather/Clock Widget its awesome. I'm still setting it up. Had the day off but wife had to work so I figured if I want to stay married I better get some chores done
Have had a couple small issues. I can't seem to get widgets to show up on the Sense laucher (No Problem under GO Launcher) I love the battery meter in the notification that shows the percent left in the battery like swag had and evervolv wish this had it. USB is charging phone but I cannot get the USB Dialog to show up to allow me to choose. I have Even Tried setting it up as disk drive only and nada
Still I'm very happy with the look feel and the weight of this. The download weight was a bit heavy I thought but with all my programs installed (It installed them automatically) I have like 196 megs of space left.

After redownloading it all I can see it there seems to be an error with the file itself. Any other rom or theme I have downloaded is able to be opened with winrar and I can see the various folders in it. With this one when I open it with winrar I get this error message-
C:\Documents and Settings\My Documents\Downloads\InfectedROM_Eternity_A1(1).zip: Unexpected end of archive
I don't know what else to try. I can't open it on my phone or on my computer, MikG 2.59 flashes just fine yet it looks like other people are using the same link and getting it to work for them.

Back when the Evo was running Froyo, 2 kernel Dev's you can rely on making great stuff was Ziggy and Netarchy.
correct about superwipe, but you should not just rely on it. i always follow the http://androidforums.com/evo-4g-all...ooting-dummies-guide-gingerbread-edition.html and the flashing procedure there. so always wipe first (data, dalvkik cache, and cache) then flash superwipe then flash the rom.
and yeah it could be a bad download.

Ziggy's kernels isn't an SBC is it? I want everything! I want Sense 3.5 with working 4G and an SBC kernel! All in a lightweight package!
Ziggy was against SBC kernels. You can read about it at his website.

I don't seem to be getting quite the battery life I'd like with this so far (Hey, Rxpert, follow your own advice and let the kernel settle )
The "no-lag" scaling really seems to be doing as the name implies.. but it looks like it bumps you up to the max anytime your using the phone and then the MHz just kind of trickles back down to your min. I might see significant improvement if I use a different scaling.
For now I'll let it sit.

Well dognappooey I had to un-infect myself. I could not find a fix for my USB issue. I did drop the issue off to them so maybe they can work on it. I see someone else is having the same issue. USB works fine in other ROMS However I am very excited about this ROM and will be following it. It's and alfa so can't expect everything to work straight from go.

I think the download was bad. I waited a while and downloaded it a third time. That time Winrar opened it just fine and my phone flashed it no prob. everything looks great. Some things I noticed-
-In the tweaks part, I tried to set the bottom right button to open Handcent but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe im doing it wrong. When they say bottom right personalize button I assume they mean the little magnifying glass.
-The volume key as camera shutter does not work for me either.
-I can't find a setting anywhere to stop the phone from vibrating when I touch the home, menu, back and search buttons.

i think that in the tweaks you are only changing the rosie and not the capacitive buttons. the rosie is where you access your app drawer, phone, and what used to be the personalize buttons.
not sure about the volume buttons and the vibration issue
are you talking about the apps on your homescreen or all of your installed apps like the ones in the app drawer?

That is very interesting. Has anyone else had this issue? Am very curious to what could cause this. I ended up shutting my phone down last night so I could just nandroid back to Swag this morning. I even tried downloading Freedom to get the USB to maybe show up but it was as I thought not a kernel issue but a ROM issue. I have joined the forum over there hoping to find out more info as it progresses

Both, amazon appstore had an icon for it on my homescreen, but it was the generic android application icon that it uses when it cant find the app.
In the app drawer every app I had installed after flashing was missing
Anyone else try the volume rocker as camera shutter thing and have it work? And a couple questions-
-is the term rosie always referring to those 3 buttons that Ocn mentioned? (the app drawer, phone and customize ones)
-What is XE Beats audio and why is it important? I thought it was an app or something but theres no app by that name in my list.

I couldn't get the rom even to open with winzip to then transfer it to my phone. Said it was an incorrect file or corrupted.
Tried three times. Went with a separate ROM all together. Sucks this one sounds awesome.

You don't unzip the file. Transfer it as is from your pc to your phone and then flash. Let us know if you have any more snags.
