Root [ROM] MidnightRom: Sense 1.5.4

New version has been posted.

The goo servers are still acting up, and not actually letting anyone download at this time. The file is still there, but it just isn't working right atm. Patience ^_^ It should work soon

Just to be informative. May work better than the goo updater. In fact, it's been telling me that I have an update available when I really don't

Has anyone tried flashing the update without wiping anything, yet? Any issues? I used to do this with older ROMs on my other phones without issues. I'm lazy and don't want to have to go through Titanium Backup and reinstall everything, hah.

I did a full wipe - everything seems OK.

My quadrant is back around 2900 if that matters, the rom doesn't seem slower but the quadrant benchmark certainly is much slower than 1.1.6

Can these updates be installed via GooManager?
When i try to install the OpenRecoveryScript, it says no recoveries were found for your device. Does this mean the only way to install rom updates is through TWRP?

I can't download it help

Try now. Goo.im is back up

So is the 4g reboot error fixed in this update?

Yes it should be

Just download it using goo manager, and install it using recovery ^_^

I'm reuploading all previous versions to goo just incase anyone wants them. (All files were lost off the servers)

Awesome, i just installed using standard recovery. I did not do a full format, simply wiped both cache. Everything seems to be operating smoothly so far and all my apps & settings were saved.

Thanks for the update!

I did a FULL wipe and reinstalled apps via Titanium. Everything seems to be working fine... 4G on/off seems to work without reboots. I did have one random reboot about 5 minutes after my initial boot. What overclocking setting do most use? Looks like it is set to 1.5 from the initial flash. Though that last version was set to 1.35. I lowered mine to 1.35 after that random reboot... seems to be running fine now.

I have also noticed that my 3G has been dropping down to 1X a lot now... could the ROM cause this? I recently did the "turn your EVO V into a Evo 3D" thing. [did that before installing the previous Midnight version and it stayed at 3G]

Oops. That's supposed to be set at 1.3. I'll fix that in the next version

I'm currently working on another version.

So far....

-Default overclock is set at 1.32 to fix random reboots
-Newer kernel version with better multitasking
-Sweep 2 wake is activated (If you slide your finger from home -> search it wakes your phone, instead of having to push the power button at the top!)
-Further Optimizations of system apk's to reduce memory load, speed things up, and reduce the rom .zip file
(For example, the original Burgundy.apk was 2,984KB and is now reduced to 2,042KB. It may not seem like that much, but it adds up fast when there's 159 system apps!)

Is this before or after you install apps back?

Quadrant is sometimes a crapshoot with scores. Try it a couple more times

After app installs - I tried 4 times all around 28-2900. Doessn't matter just curious, the phone does not seem slower than before on 1.1.6 was getting right at 4000.

Thanks
