Yep, my daughter inherited an old Samsung Intercept from my wife when she upgraded. She is still getting free 3G data after two months. On Froyo... :D

should have put that phone in a bowl of uncooked rice for a day, I've saved a phone that went through the washer with that trick
 
I am having different problem with the 20130223 cm9 download....I have done it twice and gotten everything to work, ah, except I can't make any calls or texts via my Triumph! No Service. Any tips for what I am doing wrong??? Thx.
 
so originally i could not get my hardkeys to light up (one of the known problems) but i rebooted a few times and after the reboots they now light up 100% of the time. i hope this can help someone with the same problem. and if anyone knows how to get around the camera not working that would be great!

No surprise there.I remember that the virgin lounge had a glitch.They had a points system where if you got 100 points you can convert it to $1.00 on the VM network.Well if you had the right phone and you could click the refresh button at the right time you can turn that $1.00 into as much as you wanted.Those were the days lol.

I took down a lot of testers that had issues. One thing I was doing was as my DEV phone was loading the new ROM I was also pushing the ROM up to the website. Since there is a bunch of work being done and the testing ROMs are getting confusing for me I pulled them off.

I don't have the ones that adamto posted under the WIP thread. Keep in mind that these are tester ROMs. The one on the site should work. If it doesn't let me know.
 
Hello I'm having a serious problem and I don't know where else to turn.....I downloaded gallery lock and I flashed this Rom ans now its all gone and trust me ive done everything I could possibly imagine to do the recover option and it recovered all the filesi had previously saved and they show up in my recovery file but they are black and the pictures are like thumbnails and the videos are black with no preview and won't play. If it isn't obvious the files are very personal to me and I am very desperate for these files to return....if you have any advice then it'll be very appreciated also note I haave used disk digger and a recovery program oj my Pc. Thanks guys

Forgive me for any sense not being made i was typing on my phone and it was messing up due to moister on my fingers. Anyways what I am meaning to say is, I had gallery lock downloaded for a very long time now to hide these files and i flashed this rom and now as i stated they're all gone.

I got one and it's in perfect condition also 2 batteries, 2 chargers, and 2 backplates I will trade

When you flash a ROM it formats /system. This will clear out any apps that were loaded with most any othere ROM. When you factory reset you format /data and /cache. This clears out any appsyou have downloaded and it's associated cache. I think your app is gone. If you downloaded from the play store, just redownload it. I think amazon's stor does it too.

Or you can pull it from your nandroid backup. You did make a nandroid backup, didn't you?

Well yeah I understand the app is gone but I was able to reinstall it it's the files i had saved on the app such as videos and pictures that I'm trying to get back...

Well if they are just encrypted on his SD card in a folder then the app should be able to pick that up so he can view the files from the app.I would check the SD card to see if the files were saved on there for starters.There has got to be a way he can get his stuff back.
 
Well after about 2 hours of being pissed off and researching I finally got the files back just downloaded a recovery program and searched for every deleted jpg and mp4 files on the entire SD card.

I use the PA CM9 that BSydz made.It has data and camera working but you can't use Skype or ooVoo if you try to enable video on the Feb camera test build.The older Jan CM9 builds have working camera but only if you use 3rd party apps.Also Skype video streaming works on those builds.
