Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

I have #2 installed but it still says u have zvb. How do I update it? And also I don't like the messaging is there a way to put the stock messaging app with this rom. Other than that this is the best ROM I've had and I have used a lot of them.
 
Shiny n Mike thanks guys... is there any way to change the messaging in #2 without the obvious of downloading some stupid app cause I like #2 but the messaging is too plain, or will it change once I update to zvd?

Itll change back to stock when you upgrade. If you want something else, look around in the theme section of the All Things Root Guide at the top of the forum and just rip the mms apk out of another theme that you like and put it in your system>app drawer and reboot or flash a different theme
 
hey drift! i have a quick question. On the "better battery " zip file that you made for #2 did you add all those lines in the sysctl.conf? the reason that im asking is because the battery life on my new nexus SUCKS and i was wondering if i could add your edits to my sysctl.conf. the sysctl.conf on my nexus has like 5 or 6 lines in it and the edited one for #2 has like 80 lol. so did you just add all those or were there already alot? just wondering because im thinking about porting it to the nexus. thanks for all your work man and thanks for your help :D

Yeah I use my phone 100000x's more then 90% of ya'll. All the 10-20 hour people just use theirs as security blanket to carry with them :p

But by the way See that STRAIGHT up spike towards the end? I was @ 4% plugged it in and it jumped STRAIGHT to 32% Ahahaha Super charge!!!!! Ahaha

nah those tweaks are all universal.. some of them may not even affect our device but i know some of them do help.. so feel free bro, grab the build.prop too and take some of those tweaks.. should give any stock rom the boost you werwe looking for :)

you guys dont have to ask to borrow stuff lol all i ask is for credit when needed ie: using #2 as a base or something.. lol

#2: If you choose to Over Clock the rom, you should edit the sleepmode tweak in build.prop, the value is set at =1, you must change that value to =2 for better performance you can use Rom Toolbox from google play for free to do this.

Do this before you install a new kernel. Or you'll get stuck in boot loop.
 
anyone know how to make a youtube video? lol there seem to be NONE for this rom.. i remember using youtube daily when first learning this stuff..

Also all my work can now be found on Rom Manager :D

Edit: Just changed the .bin to zip and opened it up with root explorer. About to flash it :3

Damn bro glad to see you got your great work on Rom manager they deserve to be on there,keep up the awesome job your doing:)
