Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

Hey Ldrifta!

Update. 2.1 16hrs normal use. On a 6mo old $8 Chinese battery 3500mah. And I'm not using either tweak.

ROM is smooth 99% of the time. I suspect the other 1% is from my abuse... Lol!

Just want to thank you for making this phone perform so well. :D

Hey L, I flashed the better battery zip just to try it out, Ive tried neither performance or BB until now. I flashed BB and it boots up and everything force closes. Nothing but force close messages running rampant for everything installed on the phone.

Went back and flashed the ROM defualt to get back to normal but Im not sure what happened. BB flashed ok so idk.

Any thoughts?

im not sure.. i was doing some testing myself making additions to ick theme and after pushing a few system apps with adb youtube just started fc'ing like no tommorrow lol, just cleared the app data and reboot n everything was fine :/ just one of those things i guess?? lol

Edit: Just changed the .bin to zip and opened it up with root explorer. About to flash it :3

I've seen the file extension problem a lot here lately. Strange.

But a file can't change it's extension after being uploaded. Lol.

Just change or ADD the correct extension. :D

You'd think so lol.. it shows .zip extension on the first page but I got the bin extension too once i clicked the dl link.. Just tried it for the sake of it.. not to go off topic fuzzy but I remember you posted a link a bit back about a free file dump site that I can't recall the name of.. think it started with an s.. are they having issues to or just devhost?

I dont know. I thought it could have been then site but Ive seen it with several hosts so I dont think thats it honestly. IDK. Its very strange indead.
 
Hey guys really simple question. I've used the LG Esteem on ROM #2 for the longest and it's been very good to me. I was in the dilemma of whether to buy my gf a lg connect or just give her my Esteem with #2 on it as I have gotten a new phone. :/???? Your opinion is greatly appreciated. :)

Just give her your esteem. No need in paying for a slightly better phone, if it was the gs3 than go right ahead ha.

let her play with the phone and see if she likes it. From what i gather women don't seem to care for the larger screen.

I had to retype that sentence, the first 2 times it just sounded wrong.
 
Heres the biggest problem I have come across with this rom

When trying to say install a new contacts apk with root explorer, not only does it not install but I cant even install things by flashing them after I try to do it with root explorer first.

I had to resort to re flashing the entire rom....Why the heck does it do that?
