Root [ROM] Number Two (#2) v3.0.1 {ZVE}

Looks like you had the phone on various times, but it seems like your phone is staying awake longer than the screen is on, your biggest spike in power is from when the screen is off.
You might want to invest in a program that can tell you what is causing your phone to stay awake.
I believe Better Battery Stats can do this, though I do not know of the others.
 
hey big L 2.6 for some reason makes my phone lag real bad..just thought i would bring it to your attention...had to go back to 2.5 much much better..
 
ok.. so here's the deal.. i dont like it!!1 and if i dont like it than neither should any of you :D

the update was good at first.. but im takin it back.. put things back the way they should be.. dalvik tweaks and other things all back how i like em :D

so this is the actual final release.. i feel this version is as good as it'll get... 2.6.1 final finaly lol updating OP now :D
 
o and for those of you who dont know... since the dalvik is changed yet again.. you need to manually wipe it!!! cache and dalvik not data lol... but i personally would wipe data too!!! just back ur stuff up it's easy!!!

so i personally know this rom is working 100% right now.. so if any of you dare to say this is wrong or this keeps happenning and you DIDN'T wipe cache, data etc.. than i shall laugh right in your monitor via comment/reply :D

o btw OP & rom update!!!
 
o and another thing... if ur using the stock lockscreen.. it gets laggy after a while.. its always been a problem with the esteem i believe so i jus use aosp lockscreen :D

So does the HDMI work with the latest update? Because that's sum i want to have workin when i buy the hdmi cable.

If HDMI isn't working Idrifta needs to grab the HDMI driver SRC from my kernel, MT's kernel or stock revo SRC.

IT LAGS SO BAD but i didnt wipe...!!! LOL jk nice work. just flashed over 2.6.1, 2.6 was lagging a bit hopefully this one doesnt :)

wow big L your getting nasty these dayz...;) i like this rom the best yet but 2.6 was the laggest i have seen outa this rom...i will wait to see how it goes and i do a full wipe everytime i run a rom on the incase but a full wipe...thanks
 
I reset the phone in the recovery menu and installed the new version of the rom and the ky jellybean theme and for some reason the sms app is gone. I installed gosms but is it even going to work if the stock app is gone??
 
I did the whole fix permissions thing but it still doesn't work and now the play store doesn't work. Should I flash the gapps? Is there a specific one I should use?
 
well if you just reset anyways i would just do it again. go into recovery, wipe data 3 TIMES wipe cache 3 TIMES and wipe dalvik 3 TIMES. then flash over the new 2.6.1 update. it should work.

download es file explorer and check permissions that way. navigate to the file (system/apps) and long press on the file and see what the permissions are. they should be the same as other apps in that folder and also match the permissions i posted a couple post back.

EDIT: after you change the permissions you need to reboot for them to apply :)
 
when typing during a text once it goes past a certain amount it cuts off and you cant see what your typing, for the new 2.6.1 update

also texting is VERY laggy. AND you can not laugh at me Ldrifta. CUZ I HAVE A SWEATER ON! no but cuz i know how to properly flash a rom :P

I wiped it like another 5 times and it finally worked thanks :D!!
