Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

Help!! I've been trying to change the gEnableSuspend file back to 2 but ES File Explorer keeps telling me that an error has occurred and it won't save it. Since I flashed the newest rom my Wifi goes out after a while of not using and it seems to drain my batter a lot. Can anyone help me out please? Am I trying to change the right file?

You don't want to change the file back to 2. If you do that, your wifi will disconnect whenever your screen goes to sleep.

However, if you really still want to change it, in order to save the file, you will need to mount your file system as read/write. To do that, go into the ES File Explorer settings and check the boxex for Root Explorer and Mount File System and give it root access when you get asked.

You should then be able to edit the system files and save them back.

As for your original issue, have you tried setting your wifi to never sleep in the advanced settings in the wifi settings? Try that first to see if it helps.

Ahhh gotcha. Well thanks I'll try that out and see if it helps :)

Wipe dalvik cache & cache partition, Reflash MIUI, no data wipe needed.

Hmm... you do have a point there. I guess since it is "native" themeing I was under the impression I wouldn't have to do anything. I'll keep that in mind. Right now I just miss CM7, not to say that MIUI isn't awesome, I just got used to the CM7 goodies.

make no mistake..in miui the themes do change in real time..quite quickly!! I change mine all the time..I think the previous person was saying maybe you forgot to do that when flashing..you should only have to do it once though..not every time you change a theme

(also I did read somewhere a few of the themes came with boot animations that were causing unwanted problems..not sure if bootloop is one of them but try to apply a theme without the boot animation and see if that helps)

The theme that really messed up my phone and did a bootloop was black ice 2.0

so i just redid the 99memorykiller file and gained about 20mb of ram after i restarted. before i would start up with around 190mb, with the normal settings, so i adjusted them to 2048,3072,4096,10000,16000,22000 and now my system starts up with around 210mb. also, when i would let MIUI run for 2-3 straight days without rebooting at all i would notice a serious drain in ram over the course of the days even though i force close almost everything i'm not using and have the auto runs for almost every app set to a bare minimum. when it got so low things like browser and such would auto close themselves and launcher would restart. hopefully lowering the 99memorykiller will help this and i will test and see and report back after a few days use.

also i'm using SDKernelv1.8

Hi I'm new to the MIUI roms and had just a couple questions. I couldn't find anything although I'm sure there is and I missed it completely. BTW. So far I'm really enjoying this rom. About to start playing with the themes.

On my lockscreen, I remove the stock mms app and use gosms pro, is there a way to make it display only the amount of unread texts as opposed to all texts you have?

Ok nevermind, I guess I just had one question for now lol. I know I have more but I'll search harder before asking once I remember what they are.

The lockscreen as of now only supports unread counts on stock sms. I've heard in the lockscreen dev forum on xda that they plan to implement a fix for gmail and weather - which we will not get unless the next version of MIUI is made possible, unfortunately :(

Beware of DB's ICS theme for same problems- boot animation and notification bar caused havoc, confirmed by two others on xda, only our device/rom

The only time I have run into problems with MIUI themes is when applying boot animations and the problem only occurred when updating from an older build, gets stuck in boot-loops if only formatting /system before installing the zip. Otherwise I did not have any issues with the boot animation itself just updating and this will be a non-issue assuming this is the final MIUI release for the Triumph.

I have a noob question lol. The thread says its MIUI 1.11.4 but isaac says his Triumph is running miui 1.11.18. Is one of these a typo or we just don't have the newest version available here yet?

I believe he WAS working on 1.11.18 until ICS came out and now I think he's working on that. So the latest version that's available is still 1.11.4.

Gotcha. I was just curious. Recently switched from my OV that crapped out to the Triumph. I didn't like the MIUI launchers but the entire rom kicks ass. Wish I would have had this option for my OV. Adding in the extended settings I wont ever go back to CM7! Thanks guys.

where do i find the google apps for this rom?

Some are already included. There isn't a separate Gapps package to flash. I'd say only the essential Google apps come with MIUI (a.k.a ones you can't download from the Market). The other non-essentials (Youtube, Voice Search, Maps, etc.) will have to be downloaded via the Market.

isaacj87 i am new to the triumph and installed your rom first week i had it works great lots of fun to play with. had read a few post just confirming this rom wont have hdmi fix... and after switching back and forth from stock i notice little lag or missed pushed letter when text and the stock has something in setting to reconfigure the screen so it is spot on will this rom have that... but all in all great rom will not switch to another

thanks

The MIUI is ok but for now cm7 is better as it allows wifi tethering :D. Though thanks for your work with the Motorola Triumph its to bad that you and tickerguy are leaving gingerbread. Though its awesome you are working on CM9 for MT :D I can't wait

I wifi tether with this rom almost every day. Just download one of the apps from the market. I think the one I'm using is Barnacle wifi tether.

Who do you think got (native) WIFI tethering working on CM7?

It'll come to MIUI eventually. I'm just working on other projects ATM. Like other users have said, you can use a 3rd-party app for tethering.

The irony in this is that I used this awesome ROM to Wifi tether my HP Touchpad (CM7) and laptop on a four day vacation I came back from a few hours ago. :)

I'm experiencing a strange issue. At times when I try to take a picture the phone will reboot. It's not doing it right now though.
