Root [ROM][PORT][FINAL] MIUI 1.11.25-Triumph | 113011-2 (GB 2.3.7 based)

The ROM works pretty good with just a few issues that are frustrating but not serious: 1) When placing a call, there is a 3-4 second delay after pushing send before anything happens; 2) The google clock widget always displays time in 24 hour time not matter what the settings are and 3) The calendar widget always displays the number 8 for the date.

Anybody else with these or a suggestion for fixes??

Anyone have an issue with voice commands not working?

Fixed, NM. A fresh install, and then voice search took care of me

3739926[/URL]]Thats exactly what I thought with the Black Ice 2.3 theme...It came with a boot animation but some of them are 'oddball' themes that cause the phone to get stuck in a bootloop........

I had the same problem what you do it plug it into a usb from computer/wall charger. That what I did and it worked for me.

I am using the default 2x4 clock and it only will do 24 hr. I reflashed the ROM. No changes.

that's just the way that particular clock is -- it's only 24 hour. If you want a 12 hour clock, you'll need to use an app, such as fancy widgets, beautiful widgets, etc. or wait for the 12-hour mod makers to put out an update (google for "12 hour clock miui")--although I wouldn't hold my breath on that because they haven't updated that in a couple of months at least.

or you can flash the "extended settings mod" for that version of miui. that gives you 12hr time :D (personal experience)

I recently finally tried miui and flashed the gapps over it and had no problem at all.
That's nice to know, epsecially since Isaac said not to flash gapps because of compatibility. You flashed the gapps from CM7 thread right?
I for one don't like having backup on my SD card because it takes up to much space, so I don't flash things that might cause problems, now or later down the line.

That's the thing I actually didn't know not to lol I got so used to using cm7 that I did it out of habit as well as not reading the last part he wrote. I'm not advising anybody to do it, just saying I did it and had no problems. I went back to cm7 and noticed that I get better battery life with miui despite trying all the governors in cm7. An oh yeah I used that speed demon kernel which kicks ass!!

Your lucky it didn't cause a bootloop, 45 out of 100% of the time when you don't read the whole thread of anything flashable, something bad happens.
~~~
Also, thanks; I was really trying to improve battery life and performance in the lastest V5.0 update. I'm trying to compete with CM7, the main reason I think MIUI uses more battery is MIUI has better graphics. I'm going to try to make V6.0 great, even more battery life(even to compete with CM7).
Dude trust me when I say your kernel is fine the way it is. I have used the kernel for cm7 on tickerguys final build and would have to charge my phone after 4 hours of listening to music, barely any browser use and heavy texting. When I did miui I didn't have to charge until like 8 hours of music playing, downloading and heavy texting. You are awesome! Better battery life with your kernel which is why I'm switching back to miui tonight.
Oh yeah did you add Isaac's new touchscreen driver to your kernel?
So what is the comparison then with MIUI 'stock' kernel versus yours? Do you have some numbers yet?
I had installed Isaac's new touchscreen driver a couple updates back, I just added something to it in V5.0.
~~~
I don't have any number(a user would have to do that for me), I just know that I added a lot of helpful features, and I also know that I improved a lot too, performance and battery life wise. Camera and videos are better now, as well as touchscreen.

Interesting. So better framerate, better battery, and more responsive touchscreen?

I saw you had the default kernel as a download as well, so maybe I'll give this a shot...

EDIT: I grabbed it, and first thing I notice is that the phone does not go into deep sleep any longer. I'll continue going through it to see how it runs.

Is it just me or do any of you guys have a problem with bluetooth tethering? I have always had it in CM7 (once it was supported) but I have never gotten it to work for MIUI.

I got a voicemail yesterday, called voicemail, listened and deleted. My vm notice is stuck on. Is there anyway to turn it off? I have rebooted 2 times, called voicemail and checked it 6 times and keep clearing notifications when they pop up but this one is stuck there.
