Root [ROM][UPDATE: 04/05/2012][bROM v1.2]

The 3g build.prop mods appear to be the same ones that I tried in my ROM, but I didn't notice much of a speed difference and they caused the cpu to stay out of sleep so battery life was worse so I took them off. Also looking at the source code of that app, its lucky it works on this phone because I noticed in one portion of the code he had a mount command to remount the system partition as read/write as mounting a partition as yaffs and it is a nonexistent partition on this phone so I'm surprised it can even remount the system as read/write to mod the build.prop.

Yea i was hoping there was an app for that. but the two that i tried didnt work. This ROM is way faster and smoother than cm7 too imo. So im kind of bummed. Does the minimal rom have this option?
 
Yeah cm7 is a good build. It does seem to lag more than my rom. I don't overclock on any rom because you really don't need it!
 
anyone else having problems with the default music player stopping after like 10 seconds when the headphones are connected.

Works fine without headphones plugged in.
 
Thank you all for the compliments! I'm working on the kernel now.

I use ondemand and vr but sio and noop are both great schedulers. Interactive is another good governor. Alot of it is personal preference!
 
I don't know if this is just me or its the rom because 3G absoulutely sucks with this rom also the battery drains really quick I feel like I'm back in the stock rom.I'm going back to MIUMI V2 but tell me of you fix this because literraly when I workout I open 8tracks ans to stream a playlist it takes a while even when I have all bars
 
I followed everything the right way to install your ROM BUT FAILED:(. Hope someone can post a video on how to install.
 
Great rom! its so freaking fast! I have not experienced a single lag! Keep up the great work! hope u can make a GB based bRom :) this one is already awesome!
 
Slow 3g is virgin mobiles service and this phones radio. No Roms makes 3g faster.

Also if it doesn't boot up, you did something wrong. Like wiping data after you flashed the rom files over!

Gb based b rom cm7 by brandon that is a good idea or just a flashable build prop by brandon would be the shit
 
Not sure if this is a freak accident or a common problem but I had WiFi on and Pandora with it overclocked to 1.4 ghz. I opened the eBay app and took a picture. the flash turned on and the phone shut down saying there was no battery. It went to 0%. when I plugged it in and booted it up it showed 38%.
