Root [ROM][WIP] BACKside ROM (CM7) + Green Machine Theme

Have heard it discussed a couple of times in this thread about timezone issues, but I don't recall seeing a solution. Wanted to chime in saying that I switched timezones more than I cared to today while traveling for business. While the lockscreen clock changed, the one in the status bar did not. Actually, what's really interesting is that while I started out the day in MST -> CST -> EST, my lockscreen now shows EST while my Status bar shows PST :confused:

Don't recall what it was showing while I was in CST.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Restarting the status bar resolved the issue, but I was hoping to have it automatically update the clock.
 
Lol... hey does anyone else experience self-rebooting and freezing alot on this ROM? Cuz I sure am.
And, also, when it self-reboots, when it comes back up, like, 30% of the battery is gone! :(
 
There is the tvall kernel in the ATR Guide sticky you can flash to tied you over untill the next update. Just flash it. No wipe. Should see a little zippier response.

Check your md5 of your download you may have a bad flash or download. You may also want to turn down your cpu if you've over clocked it. If this is new it may be an app you installed recently causing this.
 
Loosing a large amount of battery all of a sudden in connection with a reboot or freeze indicates kernel panic. If you could, please copy&paste the contents of /proc/last_kmsg to pastebin.com, then post the pastebin url here. Hopefully it will indicate what caused the kernel panic. ;)

Thank you Jerry! I think I'm more excited about the update to your recovery than the ROM itself! One suggestion though, it would be nice if the updater could check for updates for your recovery as well. I have no idea what it would take to code that, or even if it's possible, but I think that would give your work a more integrated, polished feel.
 
Dang, a new update, but I will be moving to a Motorola Triumph as of this afternoon. I am glad I have a kick-ass V to come back to if anything MT is less than my expectations. Thanks for all your hard work, Jerry and the BACKside team! You guys are amazing.
