Root [ROM][WIP] BACKside ROM (CM7) + Green Machine Theme

yeah, its Vista, not 7, and its ok, I figured out how to do it without the need for email. Thank you for trying to help tho :)

I feel as if i have veered this thread off topic-sorry!

I just said that because people pc is an older company.

I was getting GPS signal lost again today.

Also any chance of getting an answer about the boot sound?
 
There is no more boot sound.. that's your answer lol, however, if you would like a boot sound, search boot animation changer lite (BAC lite for short) in the market, and install. Open it, allow superuser permissions, go to tools, remove mp3, un-install sound binary, install sound binary, import mp3. The mp3 can actually be any length, but its just safe to cut it down to 30 seconds or less.

As for the status bar, it fixes after you reboot your phone. If you change the theme, simply reboot your phone. I too experienced these issues on this build, and the previous build. Rebooting helped me.

The sound is there but it has been disabled, I have attempted to change the sound as well. I'm talking about GPS not the notification bar.
 
I revamped my build environment this past build, and in the process I borked the bootsound. I will be posting a bootsound enabler zip with the next build instead of having it built in, it's easier that way than going through all the signing issues it's caused over the past builds.
 
With all the help given Sadie I was able to get up the nerve to make my own theme. Thank you.

Well it looks really cool, I like the way you used certain elements of both themes. I'll be looking forward to useing it.

The one thing that makes the Rover theme unusable for me is that the status icons are too small to read on the Optimus. Makes the battery % pointless, IMO.

That's because of it being for a smaller screen these are slightly larger and the battery is even larger than the rest. And its also colored as the battery goes down the ring changes color I think its like 5 colors.

Good work. And to prevent this question from being asked.
Q: "How do I apply this theme?"
A: you intall it just as you would install gapps. Reboot your phone into recovery, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, install zip from SD, locate the zip, select it, wait till it installs, and reboot your phone.

I'm loving your theme, I like the color changing battery icon, I like the status bar skin, and the theme in its entirety. You might have inspired me into creating my own "BACKside fan theme".. time to read up on some tuts. So I know what I'm jumping into in the morning.
 
I was just wondering.. does the new sleep policy (wifi off when screen is off) apply to tethering as well? Because it seems like it runs fine when my screen is on and it can catch more 3G but when the screen turns off, it seems to lag more.. anyone know if it does or doesn't?

Another question, I'm having trouble checking checkboxes in browsers. Anyone else have this problem or have a solution on how to fix that? >_<

its cause you are using a theme, i experience the same issue, there are a few themes that do not effect check boxes, Bens theme seems to not effect check boxes, which is something that i praise him for.
