Root [ROM][WIP]CM10.0.0.l0-BobZ

So I just wanted to give everyone some ideas, I am still working on trying to get rid of echo but I've managed to increase overall system volume. I have deleted dsp and audio configuration file (of course I made backups) first reason for deleting audio configuration file is because we don't have radio hardware functions, there is no hi fi anything. Also there is multiple audio overlays in cm 10 that will not function with this phone. We don't need all those options in sound panel. Ie quiet hours, safe volume headset blah. I don't have time to go thru it all properly so a few apps did help namely equalizer by smart android apps and volume + and lvh v3.6 by Meltus get the full apk or your waisting your time. Now the eq works great system wide as a amp and lvh works good for increasing in call volume when using this make sure you pay attention you want the orange colum and the last one in that row hs+bt+icv 3 boost.
You can also edit the build prop file
Ro. Configuration. Vc_call_vol steps to 30 lol it honestly won't recognize past 20 I think but try it won't hurt it's the max volume setting abs you can adjust the default value as well so that way you can always start with a louder in call volume
 
For the best data connection make sure it says 1x @the Lil can you hear me now bars.
So in preferred network Mode settings check lte/cdma/evdo you will have 4g speeds. if it says 3g your getting the aohell experience lol how many of you know about that?
 
This ROM works great with everything else I have v6 supercharger @ 100%, a2sd, tether, hot spot, haven't tried WiFi anything yet and for proper v6 implementation Google zeppelinrox,
You need to patch services. Jar. If you like the next launcher and the themes available then v6 is what you need for a lag free ride
 
Also a last ditch effort to hear those pesky callers that dare to bother you while you try to tweak your new rom.
TAKE A TOOTHBRUSH TO THE SPEAKER GRILL AT THE TOP. DO NOT POKE IT WITH A PIN. DO NOT USE RUBBING ALCHOL.
 
So anxious to install CM10 but I get too many calls, so the echo part wouldn't fly with me. I sure hope you guys get that fixed soon so I can try this rom out.

v6 shouldnt be needed, but a nice work around for now. Reason most themes wont work is most are for hdpi+ which this display is not.

lte/cdma/evdo should be set by default. ;)

the 4/28 rom has been changed, idk by who, it defaults to 3g now (lte/cdma)
it needs to be one up lte/cdma/evdo
 
I don't know if this issue has been stated. But the other day I flashed CM10 4-28 build with the modified build . prop and whenever I tried to call my friend it would dial then say "call connection lost" so I asked him to call me instead and it worked. Then afterwards I was able to call him without it losing call connection.

It did it like 5 times in a row though and instantly disconnected every time. This is also the first time this has ever happened to me and I've had my motion for about a year.

Edit: Maybe I've just been lucky up to this point lol

Was there an echo?
 
Not sure if it's just me. But I enabled the "AMR Wisdeband" from Pimp My Rom in the telephony settings. And test called a few of my friends(without headset). And asked them if they hear an echo. 4/5 said no. And the other said it's random. I stayed on the phone with each of them for 10mins.

*note: wired headsets with mics fixes the echo problem.*

Yeah I know, its kind of inconvenient and I noticed my power button has gone in a little (not sure how to describe it, its harder to press on than my Dad's motion I tried the other day).
 
Yeah, I'm sticking to CM 10 (JB 4.1.2) for now until an OFFICIAL/FINALIZED/MASTERED Jellybean version of 4.2 is out and ready to flashed.
