Root [ROM][WIP]CM10.0.0.l0-BobZ

i always keep copies of my backup on my pc for situations like this. but if it's on external sd it wont erase it. try going into recovery first by spamming volume down at boot then maybe you can just restore and not lose anything.

Lmao I got it. Sorry. Was looking at it. Its beautiful. Also it shows it has 1x but my speed is still amazingly fast. So I guess its a glitch maybe. Idk maybe its just me but its awesome.

yea 4-28 rom only shows 1x but is 4g. 4-22 rom doesn't have 4g but can be fixed with a patch.
you'll eventually notice the backlight stays on after you turn screen off. just double tap power and it goes off all the way.
if you get random reboots and crashes flash this in recovery

Yeah i saw that i lone the ROM but i do talk alot on the phone. So im gonna wait till that's fixed. At least i know how to flash it now.

coming to you with over 15 years of Linux programming / admin experience it's now time that I add my contribution to the LG motion cm 10 progress by releasing the following fix:

how to remove remote caller echo:

LG has made a mistake in releasing their specs on this phone.

the stock build.prop and bobs contain a hardware error that only present itself in jelly bean.

tested on three of my friends LG motions here in the SF Bay Area using landlines and other cell phones
Ruled out the possibility of it being a cell tower issue.

modify your build.prop and change the following line:

persist.audio.handset.mic=digital

to





persist.audio.handset.mic=analog

now if possible could bobz please send me a private message regarding the possible corruption of the radio settings by modifying the build.prop that even a kdz flash won't fix my roommate would be quite grateful..
 
how could modifying buildprop effect a kdz flash? unless physical damage was done to the radio by a buildprop edit. i would try flashing the beta 4 or aokp roms they both flash version c modem which has faster 4g anyway.
i've been hittin the sauce btw so ignore me if i'm talkin gibberish
oh btw you gotta flash the 4gfix.zip in this thread to make 4g work on those roms unless you use my modified version that includes it already. pm me for that

I need help on aokp i installed it with the 4g fix and the modified build prop and i added the new line and i tested and their is no echo so thank you xerolath but one problem is that i dont have root access any help?

unless i messed with it my self i wouldn't be able to instruct you but i would try the root method on it.

btw i recommend cm beta 4+4gfix+pg mms+buildprop soley because it has no backlight issue and fewer if no crashes and app problems. just sayin. sorry bobz

I just tried this.
I think it's still having the loud mic muffled problem.
I called my aunt. No echo but she couldn't understand me.

I'm adding the boot, aboot, and modem from beta 4 and replacing it to bob's latest build. And including the build.prop. I'll pm you.
