Alright here's what happened.
On the beta 4 build the build.prop mod doesn't fix the echo, makes it worse and you're super loud. I haven't tried after rebooting. Which someone should test for me. Because sometimes problems go away after rebooting when first flashing.
On bob's latest with the aboot, boot, and modem from beta 4 and modified build.prop. Backlight problem still there. So it's not the kernels that fixes it on beta 4. I'm guessing the problem is somewhere in the lib files.
4g speeds are like stock, it's smooth. Echo is gone and mic volume is perfect.
We have ourselves a 99% working cm10. Back light is not really a big deal.
I would like to think everyone here in the community that helped put this rom together. Especially Bob, Hk and PG for bringing it to us.
It's time to celebrate.
