Root [ROM][WIP]CM10.0.0.l0-BobZ

it may nvr be actually official, it may be possible to get it fully functional but it may also keep some bugs since we have a locked bootloader.

Yeah, I'm sticking to CM 10 (JB 4.1.2) for now until an OFFICIAL/FINALIZED/MASTERED Jellybean version of 4.2 is out and ready to flashed.

All that really needs to be tinkered with is the volume and echo and it will be almost great for daily use. Should be too much longer seeing the great minds helping on this.

Btw thanks guys ;)

I found a new temporary fix for the backlight. If you download Holo Locker from the PlaysStore it fixes the backlight issue when you lock the screen. And you still have the jellybean lock screen. I recommend the payed version though, more options for just 2 bucks.

Edit: remember to disable the system lock screen in settings (set it to none)

well what troubles me is the wakelock it contains. if it prevents the cpu from sleeping its gonna cause some battery drain.

i couldn't get it to work at all. after i disable lockscreen in settings i had no lockscreen at all even though holo locker was enabled

it will never be official while its locked and using 2nd-init. ;)

locked and using 2nd-init shouldn't stop us from becoming an official device, the droid2, droid2 global, and defy are all supported devices, downloadable from get.cm, and they use 2nd-init because of a locked bootloader. I'm sure there's more those are just the devices I know for sure are officially supported and are locked.

those are popular highend devices, that were on GB irrc too, not a lowlend prepaid device. ;)

They do have a program so unsupported devices can get official, they're just not supported by the CM team. Someone has to step up to maintain the device repo. ;)

yeah, thats a good point, the main reason devices stay unsupported is because no one on the team wants to be the maintainer. Once we get it to the point that stuff works like 99% someone should contact arcee and see if he wants to pick up our device too, since he already maintains like 90% of the supported lg devices.

Of course lol it's Cm after all. Open up your settings and go to themes.

I just tried a bunch of themes they all worked perfectly :D Although some are only supported on certain dpi

Witch ones all the ones I've tried say they were compiled wrong or something like that

Just change your screen density to 140 then restart your phone....then apply the theme then restart your phone again....then change the screen density back to 160 & restart one last time....works everytime

Edit...for the ones that say they were compiled wrong

Question? How long Does it take to boot? I loaded it up but it never passed the cyanagon mod logo. It just kept spinning. Any advice?

that's a bootloop
pull battery out then start phone by holding volume down and power until factory reset screen pops up. then power twice
