I tried this version, nothing seems like it doesn't work, the only thing is the low in call volume still. I like the recovery

freezes and reboots when i try to start wifi but i can probably just swap wlan.ko from another rom

i still don't get why everybody is saying low call volume it sounds just fine to me. no more heavy metal for you guys.

didnt know mine every had a backlight issue???
check wifi.
1st one didn't then second one did now this one doesn't have backlight issue
and hey if i used a rom that flashes version c modem. does that stay that way. do i need to do a kdz flash or something to change that or does flashing this rom change that?

this just flashes system, nothing else, so everything else remains the same.

the question is: is anyone trying to get the 4glte state on cm10 because 1x coverage is very low. can somebody help change the 1x icon to 4g

Confirmed, did not totally solve the problem...the echo is less, but not totally gone.
I got boot loop after this. So don't click on wifi if you did the screen flashes and it reboots(the cyanogen mod boot loading animation was really laggy). I turned it off completely and hit power button and volume down and factory reset it.freezes and reboots when i try to start wifi but i can probably just swap wlan.ko from another rom

Ok... A minute after installing Gapps, screen froze and then it restarted, now it wont boot back in, cyanogen logo freezes after a few seconds and stays there, than goes into a black screen and nothing from there. I have to pull the battery back out in order to try and boot again.
Edit: ok so i booted into recovery by hardware keys, and did a factory reset, after booting back i can 100% confirm its enabling wifi like everyone says, what caused all the trouble.

For the people that didn't have the echo, they should say what they flashed from, because i believe playfulgod said that the rom only flashed /system, so it might make a difference.
If I'm totally wrong, sorry, just trying to throw ideas out there to fix this, because once the echo is gone completely this is gonna be my daily.

well i went thru the 4-28 rom and copied every file related to wifi or wlan to the pg build then rezipped and now i got working wifi
there were some files that didn't exist on pg build so i copied them anyway. don't have a clue at this point what fixed it though.
