As far as GAPPS, the link in the OP is the proper version of GAPPS to be used on this ROM, but I would imagine once it is installed and you go into the Playstore, there are updates for a lot of the apps that GAPPS installs

So, if there is a problem with Playstore for example, did it exist before the update, after the update, etc. etc.

I just think if you are reporting a problem with GAPPS it should be known whether it was updated or not

Well originally I thought it was the playstore but after trying different app sources my phone still reboots either during or shortly after the installation. By the way I have not made any changes or tweaks on the phone. This is a fresh cm10 installation. The only update I got was for voice search and yes this did happen before that update. I just think it's weird that bobzhome is not experiencing some of the issues which is probably making it a lot more difficult to resolve

not all devices are created equal. ;)

I too experience that a lot too. Users have all sorts of issues but I cant duplicate any of them.
 
Maybe an Upload error ? By the way this rom is watz up . This thing is completely mind blowing . Thanks a lot everyone for making this gorgeous , spectacular compact beast of a rom .

When I first put out my CM10 alphas/betas there were only 2 versions of firmware C and D available

I had my CM10 flash version C kernel and Baseband because I could not get RIL working with version D

I also had it flash version D aboot so that we could have the Factory Reset option if we needed it.

Now there are 4 versions of the firmware out, so there a lot more variables involved, which make it a little harder to trouble shoot.
 
Well let's get started with a good format of how to post errors:

Firmware: C
Original Firmware: D
Problem(s): reboots if doing too much at once. keyboard freezes, but still works. Brightness setting won't change.
Gapps: yes
Other mods: Adaway, red theme installed

Extra details:
Reboots will happen to me whether the apps are installed or not. Same with keyboard. I've had the keyboard issue since the private release. Brightness setting was working on private release.

@daustin, this thread's purpose is for us to currently figure out which firmware to have installed before flashing ;)

I just tried it and the first thing i noticed was the bootanimation was upside down and i was in a bootloop then i did a factory reset and that help but bootanimation was still upside down and once it boot up every thing was all huge and upside down

dayumit, forget to edit the system.prop after I had to redo my repo lol

lol this tripped be out a little bit when I saw it. Also, I noticed it was "searching for service" as well
 
Firmware flashed in : F
GAPPS : Yes
Other Mods : Ad Away
Issue : Some apps force close all the time. Yet apps like the new Google Play store don't close. Ever for me. I actually haven't had many reboots at all. The only ones I had were ones that I made on my own. I'm back to stock for now though, and gonna unbrick. Flash firmware E. And do this all over again :p
Maybe that'll help.

Huge thanks to BobZ for having taking his time and work on this for us making this a basically daily use and reliable ROM. With just a few small problems. Still Thanks. :]
