NOTE: You need to have an ext partition on your sd card with my ROM, because Darktremor Apps2SD automatically moves the dalvik to the ext partition. DO THIS WITHIN CLOCKWORKMOD and be sure to back up the card to a PC first! It's not necessary to format the card every time you flash a new build.
NOTE 2: If you end up having issues, always go back and try wiping. Start fresh and see if things don't improve.
NOTE 3: It'll take awhile for everything to settle down. Especially after installing gapps and syncing accounts. Give it a few minutes to settle and reboot a couple times. The system will speed up after that.

Helpful Tips

Overclocking is available in Settings --> CyanogenMod settings --> Performance --> CPU settings. Tweak it as you like, but know this: not all OV's were created equally.

How Can You Help?

Please don't thank me, instead donate to Blarf for all the great work he has done.

Enjoy!

So on the newest build i can unlock my screen using the menu button, even if i have the "unlock with menu button" unchecked in the cyanogenmod setting..

All this about the menu button got me digging through all the options and under cm settings>lockscreen>widget options I found an option to remove the carrier + time/date from the lockscreen. Very nice ;)

Note: The option doesn't affect the pattern lock screen at all...but it does work on custom lockscreens like the bubble one.

EPIC!!!

I just installed this ROM. All works great, but the Anrdoidian theme is missing from the Themes Chooser, I did a search on the Market but can't find it, anyone know how i can find the Androidian theme?

Menu button also unlocks my phone when not checked. Also strange but my alarm is set for Friday and it still says set for Thursday on my lockscreen. Also if I enable ANY option it doesn't take effect until my phone reboots.

first of all, this is the only rom i have installed before but i really like it. two quick things, though:
*should i be able to browse my SD card with a computer while connected with a USB cable? i cannot find where i can turn on mass storage.

*how to i change the overclock settings? when i select the different governors, the min and max CPU frequencies do not change. but if i click on the individual frequencies, i only get the option to click "cancel".

thanks!

I was having that issue. I uninstalled and re-installed all the drivers and worked for me. You don't have turn turn on mass storage. make sure you bring down the little window thingy and click for USB storage. Then click on.

I am having an issue now because won't boot into recovery. I click recovery and it just reboots. Any help for me?

Thanks

Make sure don't have the phone plugged in when you click to make it go into recovery if not then it just boots normally like you said.

Anyone know how to change cm7 to recognize headphones as what they are and not a headset? I noticed stock ROM has no problem with this.

Thank you for the new build and another thanks for bringing back the screen on/off animations. I couldnt help but notice a new frequency has been brought to the overclock table...883mhz (WOW!!!!) Seeing that tempts my to turn the speed up to 825mhz again :)

Note: I'm currently using the 16-Bit Transparency mod and so far I haven't seen any artifacts but I haven't really pushed this rom to the limits yet :) It does enhance scrolling when using high-powered apps like Regina Launcher 3D and Miren Browser.

Another Note: The Menu button NO LONGER unlocks the phone while using the ring lock.

Nice Bob, keep up the good work.

One problem I have found: Choosing recovery from power button menu just reboots the phone, it does not goto recovery.

Thats without charging, I've tried it multiple times now.

Edit: now it's working, dunno what that was all about...

Appreciate the help. Just flashed & rebooted twice with "Roaming auto-retrieve" on & still nothing. Also I've never had more than 2 bars on all the CM7 builds (MMS worked fine on Reppards build). But the stock ROM, even with "teamchickeneater" & "SenseROM" i get full bars. My reception is fine & get no call drops but just visually I get 2 bars....Anymore help would be appreciated.

EDIT: I have PRL 3024.

If the flash takes properly there should be no text in the status bar and no carrier on the home screen. Sometimes when transferring with a USB cable from Windows the file gets corrupted just enough to still flash but not work properly. It's very important to click on "safely remove hardware", stop the device, and then turn off android mass storage. Otherwise, the last part of the file(s) will get damaged. Even with Windows 7...

Also try going into manage applications and clear the data for MMS.apk and then reboot and flash (sorry for the run-on sentence, lol)

Note: That same transfer error can cause theme zips to flash and then cause boot loops causing you to believe it was a poorly compiled theme. Same thing can happen to Roms as well.

Yea the text is gone but I think I found the problem....There's no MMS.apk. Your instructions are a daily habit of mine when it comes to USB storage so we should be good there, but I wonder why there's no MMS.apk?

I don't seem to have an MMS.apk either...lol I never thought to check my own till you mentioned yours was missing too. My MMS and SMS work properly though...
