Root [ROM][WIP]CM7.2.0 RC1-BobZ

Try the fix I posted a few posts up, it will fix your issue also.

I tried your fix first but it didn't work. Just to be clear I did manage to get it fixed using that MarketFix app I linked to. But deleting that file and doing dalvik cache wipe didn't fix that insufficient space issue.

Why do you need to change the APN?

I want to get MMS working on the phone but I was wondering if I could just add an APN file first so I can try out selecting MetroPCS from the APN list which is currently completely empty (not showing any options to select) I read that for some people selecting MetroPCS from the APN list fixes MMS so I wanted to try that first before doing the whole process of loading up teamchickeneater's stock ROM to get the APN backup list from there.

My rom comes with the proper APN file for MetroPCS.
Try formatting everything EXCEPT SDcard and re-flashing my rom.
If it still don't work...flash a stock rom, use mms, and re-flash my rom.

Does this still retain hden menus for service programming?
No, you will need to flash a stock rom for that.

Ok, I was able to get MMS working. Here's what I did.

I had downloaded the MetroPCS MMS 1.3 Fix zip file (attached), went into recovery and flashed it.

This now gave me the option to select an APN service in the Open APN list which was previously empty. In the list there should be three options: MetroPCS internet; metropcs wap.metropcs.net; and one named Congro MMS or something like that.

For some reason when I went into each one of them to check the settings, both the MetroPCS Internet and Congro MMS listings disappeared, but the one titled "metropcs" remained. Thats the one you need anyway.

So after selecting this option and rebooting the phone MMS still didn't work. So I went ahead to the list again and changed the password to mymetro as BrandonOptimus mentioned, Saved the settings, rebooted and voi la! MMS works great and fast. I didn't need to reflash a ROM or wipe cache!

It sure would be nice if there was an OC-able kernel with Ext3, Ext4, and Swap implemented.

r.O.C.K v0.3 doesn't work on my Optimus M, nor does it have Ext4, or Swap

Plague v2.0 Bootloops because of some type of incompatibility with Netd. Though it does have Ext4 and Swap, as well as being OC-able.

Will someone please post the new build as a dropbox link or a different file hosting site cause mediafire doesn't play to well with me. Thanks.

Having problems too on my OM. Flashed it several times already and it gets stuck at the first LG logo.

I restored the boot image from my backup which worked. Then a whole lotta funkiness occurred while restoring apps. Running ragged now.

Im stuck at first logo too. Are you saying to flash the new ROM then back it up and then restore the backup?

Sorry for the confusion. I had Bobz previous build as my nandroid backup. So after flashing the new build i restored the boot image and then rebooted.

First install a alternative ROM (or the older version of Bobz ROM) Then reboot into recovery, goto Backup/Restore goto Nand backup and just backup Boot (Unselect System, Data and Cache.) Then flash The new 7.2 ROM and once again boot into recovery and restore the Boot backup you just made and everything will work fine. I hope this helped.

P.S. I have the older version of the ROM incase you need it...
