Root [ROM][WIP]CM7.2.0 RC1-BobZ

All I can recommend for a better benchmark is, get sd speed boost and any sd benchmark and test every setting looking for the fastest, it will depend on your sd card. I am running the stock 2gig at 2048. Heap size 32m. And I use gemini app manager to turn off auto run on almost everything.

I did not mess with the cpu at all to get that benchmark, that is just reppards kernel at the standard 245/724.

Almost forgot to mention I'm running the latset a2sd also.

But I like the olive garden lol. I downloaded it but here's a other screen shot before

Hey somedood81 the way I did it was flashed rom nd kernel boot. Skip set up reboot to recovery flash mms fix should work
Thanks, I think I got mms working again and it's just my signal making it fail. Last night one went thru randomly, so I don't think it's the rom at this point. Living in 0 bar land sucks, lol.

Well, after using it for a day and a half now, I can truely say I like it. I've had a couple of problems with a couple of apps. These apps were re-installed from TiBu from a back up I had done before I flashed the ROM. On a couple of them, I'd get a fc. So what I did was to un-install and then I re-installed. That solved the problem. Although, as a side note, one of the apps was Shoot Me (screen shot app). I un-installed it, but then couldn't find it on the market again. I ended up installing screenshot instead. Right off hand, I don't remember the other couple that I had to do that with, but once I did the un-install/install, they worked.

As far as keyboard goes, I didn't have any problems with the stock keyboard. I'm a slow typist (on the smaller Android keyboards, but am pretty quick on a full size keyboard for a PC) so didn't really notice any lag.

I was having a little difficulty at first, with the screen not turning on right away, but I followed the lead of (can't remember who now, but thank you for posting the tip) someone in a previous post and turned off the screen animations in the cynogenmod settings.

Below is a screen shot of my Optimus M. I am using the a2sd. As of right now, I haven't installed the oc kernel, so I'm still at 600 mhz.

So, I've been noticing the different speaker icons in the status bar. What do they represent:

45 degree angled with "sound waves" coming out the mouth and the sides
sideways with the waves only from the mouth
the phone and vibrate waves
and then finally the speaker with an x

What's the difference between the 1st two?
