sad to hear :( you were my favorite, but i guess there still playfulGod builds! hope he has RC1

Each build is set at 600 from start, and all ascends are built different, but there was a rom build for lazy ascend that cannot load cm6/7.

yes but lazy ascends do not like the OC of being at 748 MHz. When you flash a rom that has a 748 MHz and yours is lazy, you will go into a boot loop

hmm true about the lighting up problem but my earpiece works perfect, market works perfect as well. and about the boot, i never had that. what i did is just let the market and apps and stuff settle in.

ill tinker with it a little, nothing major, but with everyone support all should be good, and i will get with PG and do some calibrations with him, but im moving on also as im waiting for my other Evo 3D to arrive...
 
I know it's all personal preference, but I just like the Sensation sooooo much more. A little extra memory just can't make up for the uglyness of the 3d. (imo) plus having those ginormous cameras just laying on the table every time I set the phone down would drive me crazy, which would force me to put a case on it, which makes a giant phone even bigger. Again, just my opinion, these are obviously two of the nicest phones on the market right now.

Damn, this forum is going to be a ghost town before you know it. I can't help but feel a little sad to see everyone moving on. I know we all want to move on to better phones, (myself included), but I'll miss you guys, especially the long-timers (you know who you are). I think there was something about us getting these cheap little phones and all learning together. And a lot of thanks goes to Jazziette for setting the tone for the forum back in the day of everyone being helpful to each other instead of being douches to each other like on a lot of the other forums. I'm glad that has carried on. Nuttmeg, big thanks for being one of the most helpful and patient people on here. I'm sure everyone will agree on that. I read a lot of the different phone's forums on this site, and this is the coolest one I've come across. Even when I get a new phone, I plan on keeping my Ascend to play with, and I still plan to come to this forum. I hope I still see you guys around here for a while.

Thanks, and you have been a big help to us all also :) but i will not leave no one hanging, still going to keep all my ascend for testing and still provide all knowledge that i can. And yes this is the best forum a android lover can come to, now who can i get to say.....YEEEEHAWWWWWWWWWW, lol
 
My fiance had this rom on her phone until her touch screen stopped (Not because of the rom). We took the phone in for warranty although we had to pay $32 to get it.

Anyway...

They gave her a new ascend but it has 2.2 stock... Will this rom still work for it or do I need to change something on the phone?
 
I have the Recent CM7 on my Phone and Every now and then my Phone out the blue starts Ringing very low the only way I can Stop it is to Reboot it. Please Dose Anyone know How to Fix this?:confused:

if you have sound back or kick back or any alarm apps uninstall them and reboot phone, also you might have the alarm set to reminder and it will constantly ring also.
 
Okay, so I am currently on Bobz version of CM7(which btw is the best CM7 that I have tried), but the problem I am having is when I am making calls some of my calls drop as the call connects even when I have all my bars. Anyone got ideas what I can do to fix this(keep in mind i have reinstalled the ROM 3 times prior to this)

if you with metro dail *228 and option 5 and let it update PRL, but it sounds like a carrier problem as your provider might be having issues with their service atm.

But I honestly I hope you guys enjoy the upgrade, totally undestandable, maybe one day we'll meet in other phone sub-forum ;)
