I tried running barcode scanner and qr droid... Neither work and now my camera says cannot connect to camera...

I tried on 710mhz and 690mhz.. Any ideas?

Edit: Doesnt work on 600mhz either

They don't work. Somehow in 2.1 Huawei was able fake autofocus support. I can't get it to work in 2.3. When they fail they clog up the camera. Restart and camera will work again.

Another problem..

My wifes phone.. I went from cm6, I did a full swipe and all.. It installed and it gave me an option for a set up wizard.. So I tapped set up wizard.. Now all it does in a boot loop... I installed it again and it does the same thing..
I dont remember it giving me an option for set up wizard on my phone.. Both using the latest cm7..
Using CMW 2.1.5.8 I think thats the number..
 
Has anyone been able to send videos? Ive been trying to send a 9 sec clip to a few people all day and no go, also...anyone have issues sending long text messages, I can't seem to send longer texts without issue
 
i can send videos i can send mms, video camera working, EVERYTHING is working..all i gotta say is this is basically flawless

thanks again to isaac for possiblizing the impossible. really appriciate what u have done to it, dont think anything else can be done, everything is smooth and flawless!

Edit... I now have my wifes phone working.. I put a formatted sd card in, loaded the files to the card.. Now its working so far..

go ahead and flash to 3.0.2.8, it works with all the current 2.2 based roms available for the Ascend, can't do to the fact that 3.0 CWM is based on Gingerbread technology is what I think the error gave me when I tried. As long as you don't run the Icarus 1.1 ROM then there is no reason to not have 3.0.2.8 as its the latest CWM and is recommended when installing CM7. I ran CM6 with 3.0.2.8 and it ran flawlessly, in fact even faster than CM7.
 
Well seems IM having more and more problems with this current version.. Now when I enable mass storage, it locks up on the screen, then goes into a boot loop, then back to the home screen...

Sounds like you might want to redownload, rewipe and reinstall. Something did not go right for you.
 
the new version is amazing, soo excited that everything works. definately a big upgrade from cm6 and the toe2.2 has nothing on it. great job. got the wifi thing worked out and have finally been happy with my phone

This is great Bill, I'm glad it's working for you. As CM7 gets closer to CM 7.1, it'll have even more cool features... Here's looking to the future! :)
