Root [ROM][WIP] CyanogenMod 7 for the LG Esteem MS910

Hey PG how goes the progress with CM7 or 9. I was just reading on the xda forums someone was calling all devs to help port CM9 to the lg rev. He said it was no where near usable. So I'm just curious. Thanks!

LoL good idea! I was playing around with the hide functions earlier and I followed his directions only problem was he said look for his edits in the xml with # start and I looked in every single file and couldnt find them so I just copied the whole xmls over compiled....statusbar force close fail...but his were on a sgs2 I think so shouldve been somewhat expected. And then again I went back after words and tried to center the date as well following a nice guide v superuser v posted the link to but...yep, statusbar force close fail again so with that in mind it could be just me....:stupido2:

You talking about the asshat that was offering $300 or a phone upgrade if it was done by April 1st and got told it wouldn't happen ;)

But, like I have told the revo crowd, when I make a break thru with the esteem I then will port it to the revo. No sense and trying to work on it on 2 devices and neither of em working lol.

PG it's the end of the week any info on the next Toss of your CM7 for us to check out like you had said.. Last one was like 3 or 4 months ago.:confused:

Thats right PG show that Esteem love!! And once we get CM7 whilest your porting it over we can say to revo NAH NAH NAH NAH NAAAAAH WE'VE GOT CYANOGEN!!!:p lol j/k

well thats not my reasoning for it lol, but more of why have to edit 2 repos whens it will be easier n faster to just copy a working one (when it gets to that point) and make the needed edits for the revo. ;)
 
cm7 for the esteem will be great. I will have to read through the rest of the posts find out what is now working and what is still not.
 
PG Is GOING TO GET THEM BOTH OPERATING. NEVER UNDER ESTIMATE. CM7 (OR CM9) IS JUST ANOTHER STEP FORWARD AT SOLVING THE CODE. ;)
