That's within the individual applications, the LED is compatible if set up within the settings.

If that is INDEED true, I'ma kinda wondering about the similarity of that vs. the fix for the Sony PS3 "YLOD" ....because these phones do get hot...lol, looks like I have improved my charging abilities by sticking my phone under a high powered hand dryer and blowing out the ports, reaaaalllll hard.

Make sure you are using the default app. I notice that some others don't have full functionality here.

My only issue is that I used to be able to see and use emoji & now I can only use them. Trying to look for a way to see them again.
A small temporary fix for the camera issue download the kit kat camera & gallery from ZoonApp in the play store. Afterwards disable the camera and gallery apps that come with the rom in your settings.

mms is a known problem for hangouts... not a rom problem... the google team said they were working on it...
as for not seeing messages on the stock app, also a known thing but i think it's on purpose... hangouts blocks the stock messaging app from recieving texts so you dont get two notifications from the two apps...

Update hangouts...they fixed MMS suposedly
MMS was working in Hangouts before I switched to PT JB. And as far as I know, I have the latest version of it.

Same for me. Updated it and now I'm getting the "Touch to download MMS..." notification. Weird, that I started getting it after the update...

Still got that MMS error; the SMS side of things works fine, and I'm also still able to use the stock TW mess. app if I really need to send/rec. a pic or 5...
As far as the rom itself, it's working as well as 3.1...still getting the occasional lock-up; but here's the weird thing. When the lock-up occurs NOW, the capacitive buttons at the bottom of the phone are still functional and lit up...it's just the screen itself that is frozen. This development has been going on for about 2-3 weeks now.
I thought I had posted something about it earlier in the thread, but in all honesty, I don't remember. I've been working SO much OT, that it seems that I go to work, come home, eat, and go to bed...(wash, rinse, repeat).
So when I did get on the forum here, most of the time I was at work, and couldn't reply or offer feedback to much. Finally on Vacation now till 1-2-14, so I'll be checking in a little more...I was debating on a new phone for either B-day or Christmas, but funding does not allow for that particular expenditure at this time
...oh well; we'll keep working this one 'till then. All things considered, it's not the worst phone on the market.Noticed the new Gold hardware...congratz...
What's that 'Cognitive concepts' thing all about? Iddnit the 'same' or 'similar' to All Things Root as far as content? Or is it exclusively for Dev.s and their ideas? I just don't wanna mis-post something and draw the ire of the Mod's for having to re-direct something that I shoudda posted elsewhere..(EarlyMon is busy enough, lol).
Now that i've got some time I might re-do it back to 4.1.2 un-rooted stock just to see what happens.
Anyhow, I'll be lurking around for the next week or so...

Edit: I am running the CPU @ 1709/245 now; previously I was at 1517/245, and while I can't be 100% pos. about it, that's about the same time I noticed the change in the lock-up habits...
Co-incidence?

So I'm back to P.T. JBS 2.4, and I installed RootBrowser so I could manipulate the FOTA folder in the cache, basically followed the post from sanjuro77 (thx, bro).
I also installed Power Menu for ease of reboot to recovery. Still running the 6.0.3.6 touch recovery.
Android Version is 4.0.4 (stating the obvious)
Baseband
M950VPBM12 (is it '12' or 'I2' or l2)
Ker ver.

Does 2.4 lock up? And my phone is weird, the more i use it the less it freezes, it hardly ever freezes now (no complaints).
As far as cognitive concepts, it's basically just my own sub-forum for anyone to go to if they have an idea that they believe would help this phone (or any phone really). After they post the idea, myself or any other developer may see it and begin making ideas reality.
