Many of us have tried to root this phone with every rooting app available to no avail. Even manual root. This is far from a flagship phone so, devs have no interest. Well, unless you start a bounty and rack up about a 5 grand minimum.

we can't give up yet, i have school yet im willing to actually set some school work aside for root on this thing

This phone is vulnerable to CVE-2014-7911 and CVE-2014-4322 the same exploits used to root the xperia z3. i have tried using GIEFROOT and the first stage runs perfectly but CVE-2014-4322 uses hardcoded memory locations the only way i see is to ask zxz0o0 and see if he can make a version with our memory layout.
