Root Root for Fierce 2?

Thats not the problem I have only like 3 GB of pictures but its appears in the picture like I had 85gb of pictures and the microsd is 32 only and it changes some times are the music,apps, is annoying can't use my memory

Hmm, in your phone's storage settings, how much space is indicated left on your sdcard and internal memory? Is your sdcard set as the "Default write disk"?

i have free 1.5 gb of internal storage in microsd i have 28gb free i setup the microsd as default and sometimes if a change the default write disk it reboots :|

Okay, make sure the SD card is the default write disk. In your camera app, set it to save photos and video to the SD card and reboot your phone. Let's see if that fixes your problem.
 
Found a little more info on the emmc download mode. i will b trying to mount the internal emmc with the emmcdownload in qpst . Also do anyone need the 09001 update.zip for 7040N - c66up63?
 
So, I've been Youtubing ang Googling like crazy trying to find roots for this Fierce 2 on MetroPCS. Someone linked a Twitter post on here so I went to it. Searched the Twitter page and found my model 7040N and Build C66UP63 can be rooted. Im new to this, so not sure if that was the ayy o'kay to root this thing.
 
Post a link ..I would love to get this phone rooted.. Would really like to nand backup... Sad thing we can't even do that without root
 
can someone help me unbrick my alcatel one touch fierce 2 7040n....it's stucked at alcatel logo...... i tried hard reset it, but it is not working....... i also tried searching for stock rom but it is not available..... we dnt have alcatel shop here in Nigeria.... i bought it in usa... through metropcs..........
 
yes this is the update for that model. it still can't be rooted .i am uploding it rigth now.

is just the update file since there is no way to backup the system but hope is useful.
 
I posted the post from Twitter i found thinking i could root this phone. Of course im not tech savvy so i was happy upon finding it on Twitter.
