1.) Don't just download the HTC Drivers, download AND install them! If you don't, you may be getting the "Waiting on Device.... For 3 hours." issue.

Brand new here...I followed all the steps, but revolutionary stalls at the point it says:

Zerging root....this may take a minute or so...

not sure whats wrong or what to do
 
now a lot of people are reporting that revolutionary stops in the middle with no recovery (you get a red triangle with an exclamation mark). reboot the phone (or pull the battery) and rerun revolutionary. it should work the second time.
 
yea that was the issue with me aswell it basically just installs clockwork mod recovery on your phone
 
My phone will only boot into the clockwork thing. Can anyone tell me how to fix this or get back to the regular 2.3 because I need to be able to use my phone again.

Hmmm, ok. Still S-on. Pc, wtf.
Try redownloading everything. Wipe your phone and SD card completely. Then give it another go. I'm out of ideas, Ocn you got anything else?

Ok what option are you choosing after flashing your files?
You should choose: reboot phone.

Edit: wait I forgot you should choose: go back, then choose: reboot phone.

well there was something about an error when connecting the phone to the pc. it could be that. but he can access his card. so not sure yet. maybe try this on another computer? or try a different cable?
 
Wiping the entire phone n SD. I grabbed another cable. Rebooting the computer again and will redownlod everything.....again.
 
i am getting invalid beta key too :/ i copy pasted it on the cmd but still it does say invalid key.. i tried everything .. anyone got a solution please? i ll be really thankful!

ok from there you can just flash a rom of your choice. just select "mount as storage" and select mount usb storage connect usb download and transfer the rom from your pc to your phone via usb. wipe dalvik cache(advanced), cache partitions, and data. then select install zip find your file flash it and reboot.
 
im very new at this. i tried to root and im on step 10 i got s off. but when i tried to select superuser from sd card it says file not found. what can i do?

It's probably the drivers then. What version of windows are you on?
If its Vista, then its the Vista, in my opinion. ;) That OS messes with more stuff than any other program I've ever seen.
