Thanks Early. I don't use Safari so that's a non issue. FF user here. I'm just concerned with rooting to rid myself of the bloat. And Unrevoked seems to be the easiest way to go about doing that.
On a side note, I find it a bit unnerving and disturbing that Android users don't have the freedom which one would think they'd have with "open source" software. I remember when I first read about Google and their plans for Android all those years back and thought "wow.. open source, mod friendly software for handsets... awesome ! " And now it just seems like more of the same. In fact, perhaps worse in some respects. I thought Apple had things locked down, but it seems that Google has very little control over the hardware manufacturer's. Samsung is looking to completely lock out user control in a firmware update to their Tablet. But wrong thread so I digress.
I only brought it up because it is relevant to the difficulties of rooting.

It would be nice if Sprint gave us the choice of what blaotware we want, I don't follow nascar so why do I have a Nascar app that is uninstallable? Right? Lame. Thank goodness for rooting though!!
