Thank you both. Honestly the Root stuff isnt that difficult, but I dont see the point in buying a phone and having to void its warranty just to get it working on the same level of a phone that was released 6-8 months prior. That and the fact that I want to put ONE DAMN CD on the device and I have to go through VZN's crappy media player. Im sorry but thats where I draw the line. Plus its so complicated and insanly tediuous that it just ends in frustration. And I dont feel like that should be nessecary considering how much I pay a month for the freaking thing

Sorry, its just so crazy that I cant make the thing work like advertised without getting a head ach. Still waiting to hear from VZN corprate to see if I can switch phones.

Ok...so now my SD card works...Just wait about 30 seconds after plugging it in, select mount and it works...maybe they fixed it...Im starting to feel a little better. Now get me 2.2 and I will be absolutly satisfied.

Still got the SF? 2.2 is available in the root section just pick the rom you want. I like superclean myself but thats a personal choice
 
I keep getting force closes on launcher pro and when i revert to touchwiz i get a
processing system forceclose, what do i do please?
 
Got a question about the Fascinate; looked, and couldn't find it so here we go. What are the 2 things just to the left of the ear speaker? They should be LED indicators right? Why don't they work?

proximity and light sensors...no led for the fascinate.

alternatives? noled from the market uses the screen for notifications...and for the root 2.1 crowd bln notifications
 
yeah this place has died down a lot...i think a lot of the old regulars are more preoccupied this days with other things...and honestly i dont know that a lot of the newcomers are aware this thread even exists :o

The Saps show...has a nice ring to it :)

I've never really been active in the Fascinate threads...just swoop in like a vulture and snatch up a great 2.2 ROM and then bounce ;)

But when things are running so well...there is not as much to discuss LOL.
