Just ran into this again after all this time. I tried to install AZlink today, and I'm not sure it is done right. I'd post the log from the cmd screen if I knew how to get it copied, but rightclicking on it after selecting all just unselects everything.Hey Stoney62. You definitely need debugging on to tether your phone. I'm not sure what that first post is going on about, seems to be about mounting your SD card as a USB drive... which works with debugging enabled anyway (as long as you have the drivers installed), so I don't know why they said you have to turn debugging off.
And the second post has you using PdaNet. If you can get it working, that's great, but I have had nothing but trouble with it. Azilink, on the other hand, is free and was very easy for me to get working on both WinXP-32 and Win7-64. Just download the package I posted on page 2 of this thread, and follow the instructions in the readme.
(One thing I did forget in the readme: after you install Azilink to your phone, you need to launch the app and fill in the checkbox to enable the service.)
HELP Please?
