you just use a file manger like es file manager and install the apk. the video camera does not work but what tommy did is that both camera's can be used so that you have video if you want. really cool so far.

edit: this only works with sense 2.1 and sense 3.0 roms

I needed one of these to show up my friends' Epics' panoramic camera lol
 
yeah tommy is awesome, because I love the 3d camera app, but need video too. beyond the panorama, that camera also has a macro setting, night setting, hdr, etc. the only one that doesn't work is burst. how a camera update wasn't included in the ota, when it is clearly possible, is completely baffling
 
If they don't have to spend development hours on the camera they aren't going to. It works as is, and like it or not the EVO is old news. I hate to say it, believe me, I looove my piece.

Cool, I'll have to try out mikg. I tried downloading it from my ipod this weekend, but couldn't fine the link >< lol. Next week.

Ok maybe I'm dense dumb obtuse whatever...what the hell is different about that than just turning my phone on its side to take a pic?

I probably don't know because I've only taking 19 pics with my evo ever
 
So I just decided to install and test and that is pure badassery (thanks for the word mr ed, well stated). My girlfriend will love it lol. I may not tell her or I'll never get my phone back. She had taken 65 pics with my phone to my 19...

Mine force closes when i try HDR, does everyone elses HDR work correctly? Im still having a hard time getting a decent panaramic shot, but this is very cool none the less! Will have to tinker more with it later, off to enjoy my first fathers day :)

yeah my hdr does not work and the same goes to burst as well. but the other selections work. i use the main camera anyway(if at all) for my pictures and videos. i just love the fact that i can take panoramic pictures now.

you have to set the effects setting to HDR first, then you can use the different camera functions. I don't know why this is the case, but it works

really the only thing keeping this from replacing the stock app is that the video does not work. once tommy gets the video part working then the other camera is obsolete in my opinion. this thing is badassery!!!!!! foshizzle my nizzle:D

I've done this, but it doesnt actually process the image as HDR. The image is no different than a standard image. Anyone else notice a difference in HDR imaging? Was hoping it would at least work like Vignette does.

As for the reboots after 5 pics or so, I've seen others complain about this with the stock camera as well. I haven't been able to replicate that issue, taking several pics or deleting several pics in a row works normally. Im on HW003 if that makes a difference.
 
Finally got around to getting this. Awesome! Too bad when I tried it in my room the flash kicked on for one area of the shot and made it look weird. :) I'll keep trying then.
