So I spent $20 on a blast from the past....

I bid on an old phone (HTC MDA) on ebay and got it. Yay me! So, nostalgia setting in, I was wondering. What was your favorite phone you have ever had?

My moto razr. Dropped that phone like a million times. Thing built like a tank./

I had a Kyocera back in about 2002 or so when mobile web first started coming out. I remember spending hours on AIM. It was the greatest!

My favorite ever is my G1 I still pick it up and use it. Best keyboard ever. I never really liked my dumb phones.

I liked my old StarTac very much.. perfect holster for it, too.

That was also back in the "one week per battery charge" days.

My old Nokia 3360. Best darn phone I have ever had. Lasted a week, great call quality. To bad it can't be used anymore.....

As far as non android goes.

Nokia e71x

God I love that phone.. for that matter... if I couldn't go for android.. I would so get the unlocked e71.

It is amazing.

I still love my captivate.. but, the e71x runs a hard race.

I had the analog version of the StarTAC (gray instead of black, that was the digital version), one of my favorite phones, it was so awesome back in the day! This was in, what '98 or '99 I think. But the analog did NOT have a one-charge-per-week battery life! I think it was 14 hours standby and 15 minutes talk time, LOL! No wonder my iPhone and Droid X battery lives don't bother me, they are way better! I still have my StarTAC around the house, can't bear to part with it!

Heh, mines right here, the great plastic form-fit holster and all. I still keep the battery conditioned (I'm amazed that a 12 year-old battery can remain this good).

That phone was the first one that I heard full, clear, non-squawky voice on; it was crystal clear and clean, no delays or drops, ever.

I guess I'd have to say the 1st phone to really get me juiced was the original Blackberry. Didn't quite last a week, but 4 - 5 days was common. It was the 1st phone I could really manuver around on the mobile web on, so that had me psyched! That and I got it when I had just got cancer. I didn't have a laptop to take to the hospital with me, but it kept me in touch with all my friends & family via email, aol messanger & bb messenger.

What a God send it was at that time! I remember at that time thinking I would be a Blackberry loyalist till the end. And while I managed to resist the great iPhone onslaught of 2006/07 (when the whole world seemed to be taken over by an alien force), Android blindsided me last summer.

I guess I'm a bit more 'what-have-you-done-for-me-lately' than I once thought?

Motorola Rokr
-That thing went in the pool like 4 times, was dropped inumerous times, used by like 4 people and STILL works.

GZ1(or whatever it was called)
-Built like a tank.

BB Storm
-First smart phone. It did all I needed it to do.

Can't remember the name but it was one of those Sprint/Nextel chirp phones. Had it through my job when I was working route sales. I was always chirping someone and it made look like I was always busy LOL.

I was a huge razor fan. I managed my way through three of them before I moved on. They weren't crush proof nor water proof.. but dang solid and felt like something in my hand. It was more of style thing... being a dumb phone.. but man I did enjoy flipping that baby out in a crowd.
I also had a passion for my motorola 2 meter phone I had in the mid seventies. This was prior to cell technology and talk about looks when you pulled that off your belt and made a phone call... lol It was a show stopper for certain.

Nextel i730 or i750? I had the i730 for like a month until I switched to Verizon and got the Moto Razr but that was when I was in junior high.

By the way, Moto Razr was my fav phone.

Best phone I ever used was the Nokia 6126. It's a clam shell phone and the only one I have seen that has a button on the hinge that causes the phone to flip open. You can do the Star Trek communicator flip with it by pressing the button. I had it for years before I retired it because I wanted a smartphone.

I love my old LG VX8600 (RAZR ripoff). There was something so satisfying about flipping a phone open...

Ah Frisco, thanks for the nostalgia!

To this day this was my favorite phone!
Still have mine in mint condition with both the standard and slimline battery and it powers right up!

I really liked my red Moto Razr.

I also liked my last Nokia, but I can't remember what model it was. It was my last phone with a monochrome display.
