Spousal tolerance

I'm new, but I'm getting on AF almost every evening.

I don't know where I'm at in the spectrum. He spends most of his time browsing a custom hats forum. We sit on the couch and are each on our forums. Sometimes even happily chatting about our respective forums.

Best of both worlds?

Custom hats forum? Talk about specialized! I guess there really is a forum for everything!
 
B. I used to spend a decent amount of time playing video games (specifically MMO's) I don't do that much anymore. I don't neglect my wife or daughter, so they put up with my hobby. :)

Haha, yeah. He blames me for getting him into hats. We went to a party dressed as Brian Johnson and Angus Young from AC/DC. He was Brian and wore a flat cap (as the real Brian does).

They do make hats with Bluetooth built in.

Not sure my wife tends to jump through them all at one time or another.

I think her biggest fear is "Me looking for another woman" I leave the screen on and never try to "hide" anything. However at times she will look at me and say doesn't someone need your help on the forums? or why don't you go on your computer I've got this. (Generally when trying to help with dinner)

as far as work goes not a problem as long as its not happening while we are busy or I'm not driving. :D

As far as me looking for someone else I am always looking for good conversation in those things that I love (technology, Mythism, and Others) however I am not looking for "Love" I already found that and show and tell her all the time :D
 
I would say a combination of B & C. I always just thought nagging was a wife's primary job. :p

In any event, she doesn't care that much when I'm browsing here, but it does bother her when she asks me to do something and I am distracted by something on the computer.

That's about how it is with me and the wife. She's not too techie but she does like using Linux more than Windows! Go figure.

I think also she don't like the fact that I may still chat with some old Yahoo chat room females I met before I knew the wife, they send me an IM every now & then.

I cruise The Fedora Lounge just for pics for avatar changes. :D

At one time I was using the circled portion of their banner:

But when I queried the site dev to make sure it was ok for me to use it as an avatar here he responded with &^%#$@!! NO!.. so I stopped. ;)
