Great theme, Joe!

So I've read a few times about the 4-5'ish second delay when pressing the Home button. Is there any way around this?

The newest build (712 for 2.0) seems better to me. In most instances it is about as quick as the regular home. The situation where it still seems to be a little slow is when I am in an application that is designed for landscape mode (games mostly) and I am holding it in portrait mode when I press the home button. Then it is going back to the home screen and changing the orientation at the same time and takes a bit longer.

I have one big problem. I got my new phone and loaded all the apps I could remember. I then loaded SH3 712 and all the apps that where not loaded showed up as marketplace icons. I downloaded the apps reinstalled them and they still have marketplace icons.
That's an image caching thing. I know you solved it :D Shouldn't need to reinstall though, a simple restart should solve it.

I am missing something basic, what program is used for the tags to tag apps in Sweeter Home 2?
Having some trouble figuring this out, yet, it sounds extremely simple - although I will admit I have not been able to spare time to go into every menu and selection, so I hope the pre-emptive question is not a bother (usually try to exhaust my ability to find information before asking, but work blew up yesterday on a project I won't see the end of until Friday, so I lost a ton of steam :p )

You make a tagged box and when not in edit mode, long press an empty area in the box and add an aplication. There its tagged.

Tag trays are one of SH's coolest features. Instead of creating a custom tray, when you create a tagged tray, SH looks at their database and compares it to the apps that you have installed. Say you create a "Tools" tagged tray. That tray will start to populate with the apps that other users have deemed as tool-type apps. You can then add other apps as you like, or delete them. Your preferences override the server's preferences.

Another cool feature is that, the next theme you build with a "Tools" tagged tray, ALL of your tools apps will automatically be populated in that tray. Ridiculous!

Is anyone having problems uploading themes? They save to the sd card, but says "there was a problem communicating with the server" when I try to upload to the internet. I can see and download other themes, but get the same error message when I try to rate them.

An issue I have with tagged trays is that apps can only be in one at a time. There are certain apps that I would like in multiple spots but when I added it to a second tagged tray it was removed from the first. i had to create mostly custom trays to get my apps in multiple spots.

I was not aware that an app could only reside in one tagged tray. Kinda makes sense . . . but I could see where some wouldn't like that.

I am getting about a 2 second delay with SH2 712. Is the developer working on this? Anyway to resolve ourselves without overclocking?

I've noticed when I reload my theme after installing a new build of SH2 I have to reinstall my widgets. My tagged trays are good and custom trays with embedded on are good, but my widgets are blank. Is there a way to avoid that?

Save your theme to the as card.

Joe you are the man! Love this I was waiting to finally see it, I got all my widgets set up perfectly!

Only problem I have and I have been trying to figure it out by reading their site, but how can I customize the bottom default 5 Icons on Custom Tray.

I see how to select that actual frame called Custom Tray but how can I access the individual Icons and update their icons ya know? Thank you!!

Edit: Figured it out, it has nothing to do with editing, which makes sense. You just click and hold and do it like adding a widget but you add an app. You rock Joe!!!

Thanks pinesal, but I do save my themes to my sd card which is why I thought it strange my widgets didn't carry over. But if I'm the only one with the issue then there's something I'm not checking off and I'll figure it out eventually:-)

Sorry for asking so much stuff :(

I installed the theme but I don't have it as red I have my default wallpaper that came with the droid. The functionality is perfect though!

Oh what beautiful widget skin do you use to get the background to be transparent? thanks again and sorry for blowing this thread up I just rooted and OC 1ghz last night and then was waiting for this and I'm so excited!!! :)

Yes, I made sure that I left all of those trays unlocked and able to receive shortcuts. Once you get them they way you like them, you can experiment with locking the trays, disabling receiving more shortcuts, and embedding the content.

Don't forget to give my theme a good review. ;)

I edited the SenseUI skin to have transparent backgrounds. Yea, I think that looks sick!.

It's actually an Android restriction - it explains it on the popup, have you read it? ;)

How did you edit it? I don't see a bg file or any number files in the folder /data/beautifulwidgets.

Edit: I was mistakingly asking about editing the default Beautiful Widgets Small Home, and not the SenseUI one so my bad, maybe there isn't even a way and it's just encoded in the apk.

If you told me where to look for this gray bg file was located that would be supper awesome!

And I know I asked before but how come your theme when I downloaded it, is not the red dr pepper looking one, it's the normal droid bg file for all backgrounds.

And are you allowed to post a paypal donate button here :)

Background files aren't included with the themes. But the one he used in Dr Pepper looks like one of the default ones that you can switch to yourself.

Which one I can't find it? I only have like 7 or 8 of them when I hit wallpaper under menu. Could maybe you upload it? See his is different if you look at all the screens.
