Sweeter Home 2 beta

Which one I can't find it? I only have like 7 or 8 of them when I hit wallpaper under menu. Could maybe you upload it? See his is different if you look at all the screens.

Looks like the second one from the left to me. The only one that is just red/black.

His looks different because you are only seeing part of it in each of his screens while you are seeing the whole thing in the wallpaper menu. Take a look at his screen to the left of the home screen, it will match up to the left half of the wallpaper image. Same for the right home screen/right half of the wallpaper.

I tried it again, after all, I did spend a few hours making my theme, and when you click the home button, you get a blank screen, eventually the center screen does show up, the transition to the other pages has been super slow, but now there is a new bug, if you change the wallpaper, it crashes, and if you just leave any of the pages open, and don't do anything it crashes, and the last time, it rebooted itself

Yikes

I am back at GDE, I will wait until a new release comes out, and see if it works better. Maybe I should post my theme, someone tries it and see if it works. Could be my phone.

The picture frame widget? Assuming the frame is already on the home screen go to menu > edit theme > long press on frame > edit > widget configure > select picture > move the window to the part of the picture you want framed > save > back out to home screen.

Mine's gone really slow like that at times too, usually when i'm editing a lot. Usually i get a FC soon after it starts going slow and then it comes back and is normal speed again. You could try killing the task and then reopening it and see if that helps.

Did that. Didn't work

It has been buggy enough, so I installed Bar Control, and added Home Switcher to the control bar, so I could back out in case of emergency. And it did ;)

The second one from the left for me is a fully gray one.

Thanks. Got it working.

Did you report bugs on these events? If you don't they can't get fixed :)

all logs sent and reported, also if someone can try the"jfe"theme
I am wondering if its sh2 or my phone

Been playing with it for a while and its working fine for me. I don't have most of the widgets you had on there so I just put random ones in each spot.

Joe - For the Dr. Pepper theme, you had a carousel as one of your screens off the bottom. Where did you find that/what is it? I have (slowly) been getting the hang of this and with only a couple basic pieces of instructions (and then actually reading what comes up), it blossoms into a great amount of fun! I have not taken on building a new theme from scratch yet, but I am starting to get a sure enough footing to embark :)

The carousel app is Ultimate Faves. The free version is on the market but you have to buy the paid version directly from the dev. Something about the market not set up for payment in his country.

The free version only allows 2 carousels. The paid has a bunch of cool features like a task killer and system controls.

Well, that is weird

I uninstalled it, reboot it, and then installed again, and even downloaded my own theme from the server, and the thing acted all weird

All of the sudden nothing showed up on the screen, didn't even set all the widgets, lost all phone connectivity and the wifi didn't even show up.

I think it's possessed.

I changed the default home to Home, and reboot it

So, if you are playing with SH2, which has great potential, put Bar Control and point it to Home Switcher, has saved a couple of times already ;)

Ahh. Different phone, wasn't thinking about that. What phone do you have? and do you know what resolution the wallpaper's are? I've got it off my phone and I can resize it for you.

Oh I thought we all had the Droid here. I am not sure what rez but let me see if I can find them on my sd card or with root explorer. and thank you much :)

Edit: I see this was moved to a different part of the forums. But yea I have the Droid. I can't locate any of the default wallpapers to find the resolution either :(

Well then I'm confused. I have a Droid too and it is one of the stock ones. I don't think you'll find them on the SD card.

Here it is:

Well, I also loaded it

It still lags too much when transitioning between screens, and when you press the home button, stays at a blank screen, and eventually loads

But now there is a huge improvement to the edit screens, now I can edit them without crashing every single time

At least we are moving in the right direction.

The only problem i've been having with SH2 is with the widgets not updating themselves with out me having to go into edit mode. Just updated to todays build and apparently this still hasn't been addressed. I really hope this gets fixed soon i love the flexibility i have with this app.
