What have I done to upset T-Mobile? I still haven't had my update yet.

I haven't checked for a few days, but, yes, that's what I was doing. It's set to check automatically too.
Thanks for the suggestion though.

I tried checking manually a dozen times earlier in the week, and my phone always told me that there are no updates available. I got my Desire on the day the Desire was released. That's obviously put me bottom of the queue to get updates.
The German update is partly why I'm in no rush to update. I'm quite happy with my Desire as it is, but might try checking again sometime this weekend.
Yay I'm now a member of the WiFi dropout club. Worked fine on 2.1 but since the update it fails connect when I walk back in the house. So glad they took their time with testing...
I got the update sent to me yesterday and it all seems fine so maybe they've sorted it out now. Got to laugh though, it's a pretty fundamental error!
That's the first I've heard of the update causing any problems with wifi. I thought it was only people who had debranded who experienced problems if not using their goldcard when updating.
Mine has worked perfectly since the update. I've just been out and it connected straight away when I came back in.
Have you tried disconnecting and re-establishing the connection?
Sprechen sie deutsch?Just updated mine. Took about 15 minutes. Everything seems to be working Ok. Even used wi-fi hotspot with my iPad and that works great. It's the main reason why I didn't buy the 3G version as I hoped to use my Desire as the hotspot, and it works!
Only thing is there are quite a number of new apps in the list but all with 0.00Bytes so not available. These include Mobile TV, Medien Centre, VPN Services, TTS Services, Streaming Media Player, Streetview, Ringtone Widget, Ringtone Trimmer, Weather Agent Services. What's that all about?
My battery calibration seems to be messed up at the moment. I thought I was getting vastly improved battery life with Froyo but now I realise it's been giving falsely high battery level readings.I think all it's done is reset the battery calibration in the software, as at update it was 80%, after showed as 64%.
I assume just like when new, it'll right itself after a week.

The UK arm only uses the name, and has been spun away from Germany for a few years now![]()
