Just keep trying if it doesn't work. Not sure if your x86 or x64 those are the two files that will be in there after you extract it.

Yeah winbloze 7 is a pain. Ok, unplug your phone, hold your home button, click the diag mode, disable it, plug it back in and dial ##3424# to get back in to diag mode and see if that does it. If not try a win xp comp if you have one.
My old hd2 wouldn't get picked up by vista only on xp wierd xp works every time.
eh this is coming from a primarily linux user and windows 7 is the best windows os period...vista, me, and 8 were a joke, 2000 was half done, 95 and 98 were great in their day. 3.11 for workgroups was a staple. xp and 7 are so far the only thing good to come out of redmond.

Linux is all I use. I have 7, Vista and Xp. I have a lot of computers But if I am going to run windows I'll stick with Xp. 7 and Vista fail to recognize my devices plus I am just use to Xp.
I will agree with you on the Vista front aka redheaded stepchild lol. It seems htc devices I have owned only like Xp. I can not wait till All I have to run is linux, cause its a pain to swap from one os to another.
Lets keep this on topic though, So XLA2 did you figure the drivers out?

Did you update your PRL by any chance? Also it could have done it OTA without you knowing.

Step 5 seems to be where most people get stuck. Do you have the HTC diag drivers installed? What version of windows are you using?

If you have good signal and are not experiencing the error then I would say no. The old saying goes, "Don't try and fix it, if it ain't broke." lol
I didn't update it manually no. Only thing I've been doing is flashing kernels, so it must of been an OTA update. Hopefully this doesn't keep happening, changing the prl is kind of a pain. BTW I'm on mean Rom 2.6 and the latest anthrax kernel.
XAL2*** lol but no not yet. Im going to give it another try right now though.

I still didnt try it yet but I will and when i do Ill tell you. But another problem that i am having is that when i flash the radio zip in bootloader and after booting back into it the radio doesnt change to 1.13. Doesnt that mean that its not working?

Should be 1.06 I believe after you flash the radio. It just says 1.13 in the op I think.

For those having driver issues, install HTC Sync, then uninstall it.
Sync will install the diag drivers, but when you uninstall will only uninstall the software, leaving the drivers.

This didn't work out for me... I had installed and used sync(kinda) and in fact still have it installed but when I tried the qpst prl install I found out the diag drivers were not installed. I had no problem finding and installing them so not a big deal. Anyways that's my experience

It didn't work because you didn't uninstall Sync.
If you leave Sync installed, diag drivers will usually not function, which is exactly why I said you have to uninstall it after.

Wow... I'm amazed at how much that does not make sense. Oh well... at lest i got it to work
