Root [THEME] Honeycomb Hybrid 3.0 No CIQ (Updated 10.19.11)

Well... Here it is. This is what I've been working on for the last month or so.



To install you need to already need to be on Shabbymod 0.9 w/CWR

This is a two step process (much like the newest version of simple blue/green). Which only means you have to flash two zips. I have tested this from a freshly rooted Shabby 0.9 install and it works with no "Force Close" pop ups or bootloops.

With that said IF you want to do a factory reset. You need to flash step_1_f.zip again afterward OR you will get bootlooped. Then flash step_2_j.zip after a normal boot up.


Highly Advised Pre Install:

1. Create a backup image before you proceed. Please it only takes like 3 minutes.

2. Wipe your "cache partition" and "Dalvik cache" from the Clockwork Recovery Menu Before you flash this theme. Especially with the No CIQ version to help avoid any force close errors.

To Install:

 1. Unzip Honeycomb_Hybrid_RC_1.zip

2. Flash step_1_f.zip

3. Let phone boot up normally

4. Flash step_2_j.zip

5. Let phone boot up normally

6. ENJOY


Note: I've included two files to help with any issues afterward.
1. Market possibly stuck "downloading" apps.
2. Bootlooping after a factory reset.


This theme includes the following mods:
- Removed CIQ (Thanks Bloodawn)
- Power menu & toggles
- Sped up animation delay ( so phone seems more responsive)
- Custom sounds for: Camera shutter, Video record, Usb connect/disconnect, and selection tick (when typing or choosing a selection from the settings and such)
- Other themed parts not shown in screenshots

Lockscreen:
- Removed "Boost Mobile" carrier logo
- Rearranged for a more uniformed look
- Changed some font styles

Home Screen and Settings:
- Added Honeycomb type icons to:
Gmail, Deskclock, Calendar, Gallery, Messaging, Settings, Camera, Contacts, Calculator, Google Search, Phone, and Market.

- Custom notification icons for:
Gmail, Deskclock, Calendar, Messaging, Phone, and Market

- Themed: Google Search, and Analog clock

- Moved cell signal to right corner (only because having the wifi and cell signal next to each other seemed confusing).

Then from right to left is:
WiFi, Battery, Alarm, Sounds & Vibrate, ect...

- Added thin progress bar for: Volume and Downloads

-Totally redesigned the layout of the in-call gui
-Themed pull-up dialpad and sliders

Scientific Calculator:
-Pulled from HTC build and simply themed

-Changed shutter sound
-Themed

Deskclock:
-Totally redesigned layout
-Colored temp for weather widget (red/high blue/low)

- Fixed Missing parts of the No CIQ MOD (RC2)

Note: Market was kinda buggy and did not want to download after flash of (No CIQ MOD) and got the " Google talk authentication failed " error. So I updated the "Market not downloading" file to include a wipe of the cache partition and dalvik from Clockwork Recovery.



Please report any Issues/Bugs and I will update the OP asap.

Is CIQ removed on this?
 
Followed the instructions, no problems at all. You can tell a lot of work went into this theme, I am impressed again by your efforts. The Theme is great.
 
2nd response: Phone is incredibly responsive, all actions are performed much quicker. This theme is more than eye candy.

Blue, you have done a really really good job.... ive been working on my honeycomb theme for a few weeks and now i think i will just forget about mine and use yours. i do have some icons i would like to change up a bit but thats just me. But i just wanted to tell you..... Good job, I think this is the BEST theme yet!! i give you an A++++++ lol:D
