EVERYTHING is working for me ... 'cept MotoTorch. I've tried everything. Ugh!
But WiFi and App Installer, no problem.

I am freaking giddy.

I now have live TV on my phone through websites that stream TV.

I can watch the Hawks beat down Philly tomorrow on my phone. :)

mototorch works fine here, im sure u already turned off the auto brighten so the sensors dont effect it
so, try " shake light" its a led flashlight for free too! shake on shake off daniel son;)

Ok, so there's a fair number of us that don't have MotoTorch working. I suppose I can try one of the others till this gets straightened out.

mototorch doesn't work for me, either.

Build number: NexFro 1.0.1, which is supposedly based on FRF57 ROm,

Baseband: C_01.41.00R

Kernel: 2.6.32.9-P3Droids (I think it's the 1.1)

tried uninstall/install for the mototorch, and still nothing. Perhaps I need to re-wipe and re-install....

If everyone else is like me, they're getting an error message saying that the application has stopped unexpectedly.

Indeed, that's what I'm getting.

Random thought:
For those who have Mototorch and Wifi working, did you get the beta first, then the v1 nandroid, and then the 1.0.1 zip update? Just curious if that has a bearing on things. I, myself, went from NexBeast1.1 to NexFro1.0.1.

I didn't do NexFro at all until now - and MototTorch was not working in the original 2.2 leak that I came to from BB, but it is now in FRF57.

I just used the update to NexFro 1.0.1 - let's see if it works.

No! It is now not working. It seems to be an issue specifically with NexFro - it works on base frf57 for me.

Like I just said - MotoTorch was working on my phone until I applied Fab's NexFro theme- as soon as I did, it breaks.

LOVE this ROM. I didn't like the original Froyo 2.2 (mostly because I can't stand Motorola's GUI), but this is amazing! I was a big fan of NexBeast and it's skin, and this is the PERFECT replacement. And yes, it's fast. Very.

Haven't tested flash yet, but I honestly wasn't too excited about it. Now the new car home is one of my favorite new features.

Great job!

It may be something as simple as the build.prop cause it was working perfectly fine on FRF57, and I think that the market fix is basically a different build.prop.

If that is so, I wonder if I grab the build.prop from FRF57 and put it in NexFro and it'll start allowing MotoTorch to work again?

Hmmm...decisions, decisions....do I want MotoTorch or do I want protected apps in the market?

Yes, there was a release of FRF57 last night that had issues with the camera app not functioning very well, yet everything else was flawless!
the FRF57 that is on rom manager now in the stock images has corrected what i have found as everything except permissions fixes.

therefore i would say i should be a simple fix in the program language.
I personally havent looked at or compared the two
