Anybody eles's wifi not connecting? My wifi turns on but will not connect. I have tried bekits and p3 kernels with no luck...even with the 101 update it still doesnt work. If tried the tock FRF57 froyo leak it connects fine....NexFro just wont connect to my wifi..Any suggestions?

That takes me to Pete's OP, but there is no links to download themes. Maybe im missing it? A little help here, thanks again

The intent was to take you to Fab's response that he's not going to have time to do anything to NexTheme Pete's new ROM right now. If you look at the Alldroid link, you'll see that the only theme available for now is the modified stock theme.

Oh my bad, I wasn't even looking at what he said, mainly just for links....

Well, the baseband update definitely killed my 3G. Could anyone point me to the most recent previous baseband? I see the one from before the last update, but I need the one in between...

Just flashed to BB Froyo, wifi works even after forcing it to forget. Something is borked in NexFro :(

Installed the update.zip and all went well (will check wifi when I get off work). I cannot get any of the OC Kernals to work. When I go through ROM Manager and try to install the 1ghz it stalls at reboot.... Anyone have ideas on what to do next?

By the way thanks to Fab for all the work he did on this!!!

did you try the all in one update from pete that is linked in fabs first post?

That is the one that broke my 3G. I reflashed NexFro and tried the Airplane trick again, but no dice. So I flashed BB Froyo and my 3G was still gone, tried the Airplane trick and it worked.

I guess I'll probably just sit on this until Fab releases what I'm sure will be an amazing rendition of the newest BB :)

Well, Fab...you have an official stable rom (as determined on the most unstable Droid in the world, mine)...I was able to make and restore a nandroid of NexFro, and though it took about three or so reboots after the nandroid restore to get the phone up and running again, it is up and charging along.

Great work! Take a break... :)

From a command prompt I can no longer use 'adb shell reboot'. I get "Reboot: operation not permitted.". Yet is I get into the shell first, then type reboot it works. Any idea's?

I'm really loving this ROM, so I'm going to enjoy having the same one for a day or two and wait for Fab to optimize the latest BBeast. But man, how awesome is this? It's a week's worth of goodies! It's like taking Christmas, extending it the length of Hanukkah, and giving it to us in June.

Holy cow, I'm officially a nerd.

I am also having the wifi issue. It scans finds my router but wont connect.. I have the newest fab release and i rekernaled. Any suggestions??

So far there doesn't seem to be a fix.

Wifi seems to work if you are on another ROM, successfully connect and have Google save your settings to the cloud. Then when you move over to this rom Google will push your wifi settings back to your phone and you will have working wifi for your remembered APs only. If you forget an AP or try to add a new one it will not work.

If you've got Titanium Backup, choose "Problems" and let it download the most recent busybox and then try again....

If that doesn't work, I'd download the latest SDK tools to your PC and see if that works....

I haven't tried adb yet since installing NexFro, so I'll see if I have the same issues....

That just about sums it up.

For the time being, I'm running BB Froyo just so I can get wifi working. I much rather run NexFro but wifi gone bananas is no good :(

I am having great luck with 1.0.1....came from CM 5.0.7.1...wiped data, cache, partition, and boot multiple times....

Haven't had the issues others have had so far with wifi, etc.....using P3's 1200lv, which doesn't seem to have "broken" anything....

Even with the Froyo BB now out, I'm sticking with NexFro....I like the look and is running super smooth....thanks Fab!!

Want to test something out? Connected to your AP, go into wireless settings and make it forget the connection. Then try to reconnect. Does it just sit on scanning now?

I'm just curious if all the folks saying it wifi works are really just logging into APs they already know about.

Will give it a try and let you know...mine was already saved, even though I wiped data, etc., so it may well be why mine works now....I never use wifi, so if for some reason I lose it I'm not out much temporarily anyway...
