Nope....definitely is an issue with the previously "remembered" connection....wifi just scans now.....

tried installing one of P3's kernels that supposedly has a wifi "fix" but no change....

Ive been having the same problem....heres the kicker... when i try to connect to my ap it authenticates, connects briefly, then it says disconnected under the WIFI.....it then says that my ap is disabled....tried wifi analyzer and NO wifi symbol popped up in the notifications bar.....tried forgetting and resigning in, even bought rom manager and have switched between multiple 2.2 roms, have all the new basebands in order, have wiped d/c...this has been ALL DAY today for me...im bout to try a jdlfg with the new BB which is runnin nicely right now with the stock kernel....but still NO WIFI!!! i though i saw a zip fix somewhere...

First I want to thank you all for the help even though I haven't had anything to contribute myself. I have learned a ton by reading every post and searching around. I am just getting in to the forum scene so maybe you will see my name more...

I wanted to thank Fab for this sweet ROM and share a short experience that I had tonight thanks to him.

I loaded Fab's last release last night and after a few hours had it cruising along wonderfully. Anyway, tonight I was at the laundromat (it's $1 night) and while my clothes were washing, I was in my car with my droid in my car mount, watching the Stanley Cup game 6 via justin.tv! I even had my aux cable going from my headphone jack into my car deck so I could have surround sound. . .

I am loving this flashy froyo. Can your ipad do that? :D jk. I don't mean to start anything.

Thanks again Fab! I like your style/spin on design of roms.
 
no not rooted..... and i cant put anything on my sd card and flash it i guess u would call it... thats why i said help!!

I have re-read through this thread and I can't seem to find an answer to this. If I use Homeswitcher to set Launcherpro as my default it goes back to the standard launcher everytime I hit the home button. I thought I read someone else was having the same issue but can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Really want Launcherpro back... Thanks in advance.

must be hit or miss then, my 3g and wifi both work fine, i was able to connect and disconnect at work as well as at home... :confused:

use that and replace XXXXX.apk with Launcher.apk (you need correct capitals) and make sure you have launcherpro installed... next time you hit the home key it should work..

I havent used this rom, but on some you need to remove:
Launcher.apk
Launcher2.apk
 
I actually have a script that removes the launcher for you:

On another note, I found out what was breaking the wifi...now fixing it might not be that easy...

For the time being, I'm running BB Froyo just so I can get wifi working. I much rather run NexFro but wifi gone bananas is no good :(

I decided to give BB Froyo a try, partly for the wifi, and it's the same as NexFro was - wifi thinks it connects, and the phone gets an IP, but the browser can't get anywhere...

Also, I didn't find that previously used networks that were saved will work after being restored...my home network is not working and it was a saved network.

Maybe I'm a special case again? :( ;)

Thanks, launcher removed and now am running Launcherpro. Running great for me, Wifi, Flash, Chrome (Firefox) to phone. This is nice. Thanks for all the work Fab.

You need a lot more help then can be given in this thread... You need to search for how to root your phone first, then once you have that down we can help you. You can not flash this unless you are rooted.
 
Probably too late now that the Beast is unleashed but I just finished finals today.
